Last year, I did a tidbit on the fellas rocking leather, but there is a notable trend of ladies getting leathered up this winter season as well.
Of course, leather is the perfect chill covering, but with so many designers offering different styles and silhouettes of the material on Fall/Winter runways (Louis Vuitton and Hermes, are few of many) – ladies could go beyond just a nice leather jacket in 2008. How about a sexy leather dress for that late night out? Cassie and Alicia Keys rocks theirs to perfection…

Leather coats…jackets and shoes yes. Leather dresses and pants…err I don’t think so. That is really doing too much…
My fashionista auntie bought me a leather skirt that is the same color as Alicia’s dress for X.Mas. I wasn’t feeling it then…and I’m still not feeling it even after seeing this post lol. At least I now see the look she was aiming for though lol.

People always have negative stuff to say smh. I personally, love Cassie’s dress and I don’t like Cassie so that’s a first and I am diggin A. Keys dress as well. I am not a fan of leather per say, but I always wanted a leather dress and if worn right leather can definitely be a good look for some people and it is a good catch for the winter season. Its all about how you wear something. So kudos to the designers trying to do big things with leather this season.

I love leather, i just don’t believe in wearing the entire animal at once, i would wear shoes and a handbag, or pants with a top.
WHO CARES ABOUT PETA? They don’t have the right to tell people what they can and can’t wear. I wish they would walk up to Mary J or somebody. They would get put in their place immediately.
The dresses and skirts are overkill and 80′s. Leather is best worn sparingly, as an accessory.

I love this look on them its hot. I dont see a difference in wearing the dress and leather boots or rocking a purse- its still leather and if it fits you, do you!
I like the look. If I find a nice leather dress I would definetly rock it. And let me just say if a certain celeb, who always has Peta on her azz, was pictured rocking a hot leather dress/skirt or whatever, most people on here would be all over the trend.

I don’t do leather clothes EVER! But I’m not gonna lie, I saw Cassie in that dress over a week now, and IT and SHE looks SICK! She looks oh so fly and I am NO fan of her music. she’s a very pretty girl.
But I invest more in shoes and bags. I refuse to do overkill ($) when it comes to clothes. aaaaahhh, I love being a woman.
I don’t like “colored” leather clothing (e.g. your pimpin’ ass uncle with the green, red, blue, and in some cases pink leather suit).
Now I love to see a biker dude with some bad ass leather on. Now thats whats hot.
Give me a leather purse, jacket, boots, shoes or even a red leather couch would do, then we can talk.
However, that Christopher Kane skirt is cute. I wouldn’t wear it, but it is cute nonetheless. I would rock the corset w/o the straps. But all in all any leather that I rock would have to be “lambskin”. It is as smooth as butter.

Alicia Keys is a very pretty girl, but in her photos it looks like she doesnt know how to smile right or she doesnt know what to do with her face. Maybe she just hasnt mastered being really girly yet.

Or maybe Tianna knows…email her.
As for the look…I don’t wear leather and wearing a pleather dress probably wouldn’t be hot lol I would do PVC or lame` if people hadn’t driven the textures into the ground with those leggings. I love Cassie’s style…she accessorizes beautifully but the best leather outfit goes to Mary-Kate Olsen…she wore a high-waisted leather skirt with a v-neck tee with front pocket, a wide leather corset belt with patent trim and these subtle yet bulky strappy sandals….if that gives any of you an idea of how to pull off the look.
