Another more casual high waisted look coming from Beyonce. Belted wide legged pants can be professional and everyday wear as she displays here. Add a cozy sweater, beanie, and ballerina shoes to complete the relaxed look.
Beyonce looks great..a more Releaxed look. Her clothes don’t always have to be tight. Put the hair up and just go.

Calm down, folks…I understand what Lola meant by saying Beyonce dresses “old”….she actually does most of the time. For a 26 year old woman, some of the stuff she rocks is way outta her age range. I’ve seen her with tops and scarves and hats and purses and even shoes that my mom or one of her friends would wear. The outfit she has on here ain’t bad though. I’d rock those pants (hate turtlenecks) at work, but not outside just for kickin it. Seems like Beyonce overdresses sometimes. She never looks relaxed. Barely ever.

IMO Beyonce looks good just like she always does. Her casual looks are hot and her red carpet gowns are definitely always hot. I don’t see why some people think they know everything about fashion when really it’s just your opinion. Doesn’t mean you’re right or that you speak for everybody.
Oh and when has Beyonce bragged about her body? Last time I checked magazine articles and people in general bragged about Beyonce’s body not Beyonce herself. And Alicia dressed like a tomboy until this album and then all of a sudden she wants to be sexy. That person was ignorant who ever made that comment for real.
Anyway I like both outfits. There’s nothing to debate about here. State your opinion and move on with your life. No need to debate on CL all day. I’m just saying.

#62 You are so right about Forever 21, but some folks got to get it in till they fit in. I mean lets be honest these fashion come and go, so sometimes Forever 21 is aight for a one time outfit! Also you know that the little girls (teenager-early 20′s) do not have money like that. So that is why there is Forever 21′s and the Wet Seals.
I like both outfits. I prefer the fit of alicia’s however the shot of beyonce in movement makes the trousers look like they dont fit. Which cant be true..all that money-they must fit her!
I just think they both look slightly contrived..like they have deliberately put it all together, i see no ease or grace with what they wear. I prefer styles, that look good and look like they have just been thrown together…

If I think the said styles would suit Rih and J.Lo better, that’s my opinion. I’ve seen Alicia and Bey look stunning, but I don’t think those outfits do them justice.

@92 Nicole I don’t know who u were directing ur comment too, but I made a comment about forever 21 and I felt that it was relevant because Forever 21 was posted as the fashion alternative for Alicia’s and Bee’s outfits. Also, I thought it would be nice to inform those who don’t know about how some stores like Forever 21 rip people off. I used to be in my early 20′s and I know how it is to try to look cute for cheap because ur money won’t strecth too far or because u at least think you getting a good deal.
But even at 20 I would be pissed to spend my hard earned money on a shirt that disappeared in thin air once u worn it. With that said, I was just giving my sistas a heads up about how not to get hustled out of their money when shopping. My comment was for those who care about the quality of their clothing, regardless if its from Armani or Forever 21. If u or anyone else are a die hard Forever 21 fans just disregard and keep it moving. I don’t know what u expect to read on a blog about the fashion of two superstars but this is as good as it get sweetheart. With that said, I think Alicia and Beyonce both look nice. They both rocking their outfits very well and according to their taste for that particular day.
@TRAILBLAZER i understand what you’re saying about forever 21. it’s kind of true. they do rip ppl off b/c their clothes aren’t very well made BUT that should be obvious to the buyer b/c the clothes are so cheap. idk i’ve seen one fashionista in particular rock F21 in a way i haven’t seen anyone else rock it before. it didn’t look cheap on her at all. might be a waste of money in the long run but her indie eclectic style works it well so i’m all for ppl buying there. she even made me start buying there b/c i thought her style was so hot. i still buy more of my stuff at zara, anthropologie, lord & taylor’s, etc. but sometimes f21 is a godsend

I can’t even remember the last time I was in a Forever 21…I can better remember “Gen X”…I’ve been on the Forever 21 site (they’ve got nice vegan shoes) and from what I can tell, it’s a lot like Gen X….
Anyway, I can definitely see someone being chic in Forever 21 because subtle is in…nice knit tees and simple fitted minis…clean and earthy accessories…yarn hats and scarves and threadlike bracelets…yeah…I can so see it.
The pictures they have of Beyonce’s clothes are similar, but they are not from where they say they are. That hat and sweater are Chanel (I believe), the pants Armani and the shoes are heels (not sure which designer).
I like both outfits though.
Okay, I see. I guess they’re showing you where you can get the same looks because I’ve now looked at Alicia’s and it’s clear they aren’t posting the same outfits rather – “get this look for less or from here.”
