It’s Aaliyah! The singer/actress who died tragically in 2001 along with several of her friends and co-workers, would have turned 29 today (January 16th).

But on the serious side. Words cannot express how much i miss her, and her smile in this picture makes all the memories come back. This moment right now, i just want to say thank you Aaliyah for the memories, you always kept the parties poppin’ with infamous hits such as “Back and Forth” and “If you girl only knew.” i was only 3 years old when you were first introduced and knew word for word the song from your first album “Street thing.” You were a true angel…..It’s just sad you had to go back home so soon.
