on being a mother for the first time
“Fantastic! Right now I have so much joy and energy. I can just go and go and go.” She also thinks she looks more beautiful than ever. “My skin is aglow from all the hormones,” she says proudly. “I actually wear less make-up now, which is really good. “I want to stay pregnant forever.” Halle also says she wants the birth to be spectacular as it may be her only pregnancy. “I may only do this one time, so I want the moment to be as big as it can be. I want the biggest bang I can imagine.”
Halle Berry and was spotted again this week with model boyfriend Gabriel Aubry. The couple got some shopping done in Malibu.

#10 not everyone can pop out a kid at 16 yrs old. I don’t think 41 is old at all. as long as you are healthy and the doctor says it is ok, then it is all good. you should have a baby when it is the right time in your life emotionally and physically, not becasue you are scared of some biological clock. I am 34 yrs old and hopefully within the next few years I will find the right person to settle down with and have a child. and no matter what age it is, God willing, I will have a beautiful and healthy child. people get so caught up with age……things happen in life when they are supposed to and by putting a time limit on it, you are trying to limit God!

I feel u @capcitychick! there was no damn way i was going to deliver without an epidural. the pain was exactly what you said, INDESCRIBABLE!!! But once that epidural kicked in, it was all good. The anesthesiologist got paid first because I didn’t feel s*** after I got it!! LOL! @ get_me_bodied, you are my hero! There was no way I could’ve done it without it. Get ready Halle!!!
It’s been reported that she is having a boy. It’s “boy” season so I wouldn’t be suprised.
Anyway, Halle looks great, and I’m so happy for her. She is so excited! I bet she is going to be all over the place showing off her baby, lol.
Everyone and their Mom told me I was having a boy cause I was “carrying low” and I ended up having a girl …

Like someone else mentioned she is happy where she is in life at this moment. She was going through some things and it wasnt a time to have a child. God didn’t bless her with a child until now and that is what it is. On the other note, didn’t have an epidural when I gave birth -not by choice but I did take some meds that slowed the contractions down and some pain meds.
She is the finest pregnant women to ever walk the green earth…point blank period…

@ Joy..I said the same thing about Get Me Bodied being my Hero too…maybe i was confused because they gave me patocin to increase my contractions and bring them closer together…but they gave me demirol to ease my pain before the epidural which only made me feel like I had too many patron and red bulls!!!! LOL…Damn doctors was lying to me….LOL
I applaud all women that has and will go through labor naturally….LORD JESUS I’m sweating again…LOL

Halle Berry posts are boring because everyone loves her. Everyone. There’s not really anything to say or comment on. lol.
I think she’s th emost beautiful woman that ever lived. She made it through that terrible first marriage that almost convinced her to commit suicide to become the first black woman to win a leading Oscar prize. I know that’s old news, but that particular story of triumph never gets old to me.
If she had died she still would have been remembred, but in a Marilyn Monroe kind of way. no she will be remembered with the likes of Rosa Parks and Josephine Baker because she broke ground and is so respcted.

I start a Blog/forum entitled, “Losing Nefertiti”. Its about the Black Woman’s Exodus from relationships with a Black Man for the more “sensitive” White Man. Its so sad, I cant blame my sisters completely because being with a black man now days is a struggle but sometimes its for socioeconomic gain, self hate, ashamed of the “black” identity.
