Here’s the latest from Miss Jackson, the leaking of the cover for her upcoming album, Discipline. If I might say so myself, the cover is quite striking and not at all what I expected. The look is very edgy, art-driven and European, which I am not surprised about, considering the international direction that she and director Saam took on the video for her Rodney Jerkins-produced first single, “Feedback.”
♫ Janet Jackson – Feedback
Fans are super excited about Janet’s return and the new information that’s been released about the album. Confirmed producers and writers are of course, Rodney Jerkins, Stargate, Tricky Steward & the Dream and Ne-Yo, as well as credits from Jermaine Durpi and Johnta Austin. Discipline will be available in stores and online February 26th.

hello, GEM. your attacks on other peoples’ postings are completely unnecessary. WE GET IT; you don’t like janet jackson. you can leave it at that and let us enjoy her music in peace.
for all of those saying she isn’t “relevant…” i just think of all the entertainment news shows she’s been featured on this month, all the hype, all the sites like these! she wasn’t so huge in 2006 but 2008 is her year!
also–she’s not making music for the charts any more. she’s making music because she loves making music. isn’t it obvious? she doesn’t care if she doesn’t get a #1 single. all she wants is that people enjoy it, and that it can be looked upon as a great album. i don’t think 20YO was that, but discipline probably will be.
BTW the cover is stunning. the hair is a turn-off, but at the same time it adds to the artistic nature of the shot. i love it–it will certainly sell albums.
