Disclaimer: I am an acknowledged Janet “Stan” meaning–she really can’t do any wrong in my eyes as a performer. That being said, when this pic came to my “fan club” email, my response was “ok…hmmm..ok..I’m workin with you Janet”. hahahahahahh. for all of those saying she isn’t “relevant…” i just think of all the entertainment news shows she’s been featured on this month, all the hype, all the sites like these! she wasn’t so huge in 2006 but 2008 is her year!

also–she’s not making music for the charts any more. she’s making music because she loves making music. isn’t it obvious? she doesn’t care if she doesn’t get a #1 single. all she wants is that people enjoy it, and that it can be looked upon as a great album. i don’t think 20YO was that, but discipline probably will be.

BTW the cover is stunning. the hair is a turn-off, but at the same time it adds to the artistic nature of the shot. i love it–it will certainly sell albums.
