I don’t know that it’s “blah,” but it definitely ISN’T European lol I don’t know…the style seems *gasp* Rihanna-esque and the air brushing (face) seems Beyonce-esque. Actually her face looks like an amalgam of Beyonce’s and her brother Michael’s faces. The body, though, is unmistakably Janet.

Don’t like it. Yes Janet is a legend and a living icon. You see how she has inspired all of there young females out here in the industry. I’m digging the coffee-table-book/arthouse vibe of this album cover. Most of the aspiring pop/R&B princesses are too busy trying to just look “pretty” on their album covers to take an artistic risk like this. I like that Janet took it there. She’s showed us that EDGY can be BEAUTIFUL, too. This pic is so stylized that it would fit just as easily in an art gallery or a high fashion mag, as it does on the album cover. And the look goes perfectly with the name and concept of the album. If that album cover doesn’t say “Discipline,” I dunno what does! Get ‘em, Janet!

BTW the cover is stunning. the hair is a turn-off, but at the same time it adds to the artistic nature of the shot. i love it–it will certainly sell albums.
