Keri Hilson covers this month’s issue of The Fader magazine. Just like CL, Keri Hilson is one of the artists that The Fader is very interested in for 2008. The Fader is actually one of my favorite publications — they are pretty good about keeping up with things that are new, hot and on the cusp. So it doesn’t surprise me that they’ve got Keri as their cover feature.

Wow!! She’s on the cover of magazines already and has not even released her own album yet nor is she a huge artist!! How much do u see that?
Keri does have really good vocals, i’m down for a Keri cd.
Keri’s a pretty good songwriter, and I’m sure she’s talented in other areas too…but so far, I haven’t seen her “amazing talent” in terms of her singing. Not saying she can’t sing, but she’s only song hooks so far. I have no idea how good of a singer she is or isn’t, at this point.
That is not a flattering picture of Keri.

Looked up her songwriting credits and all that jazz, and I must say that the list is pretty impressive. This girl (or woman, I should say) has been doing big things behind the scenes for some time, so this cover seems to be well deserved. Kudos to her

Concreteloop is slow today, i mean i’ve been on other sites and have seen a preview of the janet’s feedback video (it looks hot!!!) And i’ve also went to another site and heard a song with lauryn hill and wyclef (though they are not sure if it’s a new collabo)..concreteloop, yaw are slipping….someone in school, cause if so, you get a pass; school work comes first so you get a pass.
I keep hearing that she’s the Next Big Thing. She’s supposed to have been coming out for like 2 years now. I haven’t heard a hit she’s penned and her singing leaves a lot to be desired from what I’ve heard.
I saw a YouTube clip of her at a live showcase and to be honest it was quite pitiful. Less hype, more substance. If she’s got it, she needs to prove it. Otherwise….NEXT!
