Her attitude and lack of originality kept me from supporting the second album can’t say I’ll be waiting or buying the third. But I know when to give props and “Crazy In Love” is a better track on its own than Ashanti’s entire catalog of albums and singles. And yes I do know that they sampled on that track, a Chi-Lites song but that was only one song and they actually used the sample and did something with it rather than letting the sample ride and having Ashanti’s weak vocals lay over it.

They are crazy lol. I am in know way shape or form and Ashanti fan but RYDEORDIE made a point about the grammy’s they have become so fake I haven’t watched them in years. I remember them nominating Foxy Brown for 2 grammy’s 2yrs after Broken Silence came out. It’s like every Black artist gets nominated for the same amount either 2 or 6 or 8 (that’s odd to me). I think people made a fuss about Black artist not getting grammy’s so they just started to give them out to shut them up.

Ashanti has more than 3 octaves. She has like 4 or 5. So does bey. But i beleive ashboth has the lil more in it. I say this bc we all know what bey is capable and heard all she can do. Ashanti on the other hand has never really tore loose on a song and hasnt had vocal coaching. Now from 02 to 08 noone can denie ashanti improved. Think of what she would sound like he she got/gets the coaching. Oh i say they have more than 3 octaver because i have six. Im a deep bass and can hit past the e6 note.
