I think it will be a hit! The reason why Beyonce is brought up in all topics is because Beyonce is the one to beat. Beyonce is the ONLY female in R&B/pop music who is on top of her game, consistantly like Alicia Keys. I am NOT by any means a Ashanti fan personally I think she doesn’t have the package that Alicia or Beyonce has in terms of talent and vocal ability but I do like the new song so congrats to Ashanti for actually getting a hit.

In Jennifer’s defense, she didn’t just win an Oscar. She actually won every possible acting award for her performance (Golden Globe, Screen Actor’s Guild Award etc). The critics unanimously praised her role in Dreamgirls, making her the only sure thing at the Oscars. What other actress has had people standing and cheering for their performance at premieres and test screenings? For their very first role?

Great song, better than most of her other ones. Her voice has drastically improved… Then again, her voice always sounded good on track…it was just her high shows that sounded bad. Hopefully she’s improved that as well, but this song has a very RAW feel, like I feel the emotion behind it, so I don’t think live shows will be a problem for her anymore.

The piano playing is beautiful. If the producer toned down the drums some and let the piano be heard more it would make this song even better. Love the song though.
