♫ Missy Elliott – Ching-A-Ling
I’m actually excited to hear new material from Missy Elliott. I always love her delivery, she is just such a fun artist to me. Even though I’ve heard that in person, she isn’t as energetic and fun, I always like what Missy Elliott offers on a track. She always brings such an energy that I love. Missy is apparently working on a new album, a follow-up to 2005′s The Cookbook, which had some fun and interesting material on it.
However, “Ching-A-Ling” is a track that is to appear on the soundtrack to the upcoming film, Step Up 2, which randomly stars Cassie. Even though I don’t know whether this is representative of the work that Missy’s doing on her upcoming project, I will most definitely be on the look-out for her, because Missy has been groundbreaking in the past.

I like everything about the song except the verses are a lil too deep for me. I just randomly noticed Ive NEVER seen her wit a dude..even a bf. random. but um yea ne thing her and Timbo touch is fiyah. Speakin of I love his album even tho its old news…so innovative.
Hmm don’t know if the song is as infectious as her other hits, but I’ll let it grow on me sounds like Eve’s “Tambourine” or something…

that’s cause she’s asexual (lol!) Really…she’s said in an interview that she doesn’t have to be in a relationship at all…she says she could be fine for the rest of her life without being in a relationship as long as her mom is taken care of and happy. That sounds to me like she’s just REALLY REALLY insecure…I don’t even think it’s about repressing lesbian desires…I think she’s just THAT insecure.
And, Brian, I knew of someone once who got to meet her…some sort of promotional thing she won with a radio station or something and she was sorta disappointed with how shy and insecure Missy seemed. She said she sat with her head down, chin to her chest, the entire time…and the other celebrity (I think it was Diddy) did all the talking/entertaining…

This joint is really catchy, not sure if I like it yet though…it might have to grow on me. The lyrics are a lil elementary but, the beat BANGS and I hate her moaning at the end. Wat the heck is up wit that?!
I’m not really feeling this song at all. I might have to listen to it a few times but her voice is WAY to deep on this track and the chorus is kind of stupid to me. She sounds like she’s off beat with the track when she raps. I don’t know, I just thought after all this time she’s been off she could have done a little better than this. Oh well!

I dont know why, but it’s addicting whether the song sounds halfway right or not! Missy be puttin it down and I could care less if she’s energetic or not cause once she lay the track down…its ova’!
Glad to hear something new from Missy. The song sounds ok now, but we all know once she put a hot video out with it we will embrace it like magnets…

I dont get folx who think that someone has to have somebody on their arm to be happy. How does being secure being alone = insecurity? Insecurity to me is not being able to stand on your own 2. Even if she IS a lesbian. So what? Relationships are hard work and DRAMA. Some folx just dont have the time for that. I applaud Missy for being her own woman.
