♫ Making the Band 4 – Got Me Going
With the new season of Making the Band 4 premiering tonight, it’s only appropriate that you get to hear what they’ve been working on. “Got Me Going” is the rumored first single from their debut album. It’s produced by hitmaker Mario Winans, who has been famous for penning plenty of hits for Diddy and his Bad Boy empire. Should be interesting to see what other material they come up with. I’m a little disappointed that a band name hasn’t leaked yet. I’m sure will find out more as the season progress.

In addition, a snippet leaked a little bit ago of “Together,” a Bryan-Michael Cox-produced track. Here’s the full version of the track. I like the track, and I am also feeling the song they recorded on the previous season of the show “I Want You Exclusive.” It’ll be cool to see the dynamic of the two groups and the solo artist on the show. The commercials and promos have just looked so juicy!

This song is terrible. They need to sing the one from the premiere show. I hope the music gets better.

Exclusive was corny and poppish and juvenile. I could have written that song while having diarrhea on the toilet. I really hope they are not called 826 boys then the 112 comparisons will never go away.
Sorry to say, but I don’t like either song. I don’t know why, but they were pretty lame. Dk’s single sucked too.
That first song is just aaight. It’s not that interesting and seems to go on forever. I love the second song Together!! Nice vibe, great harmonies, catchy chorus and the beat is fire!! If this is how the album will sound I want to reserve my copy right now!!
I don’t HEAR the 112 comparisons but to each his own …I like both songs but I like the first one slightly more and for anyone that’s curious this is the order of who’s singing on the first song…Robert’s riffing in the very beginning of course his voice is easy to pick out, Brian starts off Verse 1, Willie comes in the middle of Verse 1 and ends it, Mike is riffing on the first chorus, Brian starts off Verse 2, Robert comes in the middle of Verse 2 and ends it, Mike is riffing on the bridge, Willie riffs a little towards the end of the song …Q ain’t get no shine on this song but he got the first verse on the second song and he got parts of the chorus to his self but Will ain’t get no shine on the 2nd song…I guess it’s only 4 people to a song
I stick by what I’ve seen, a career on badboy is like aborting your chances at a real deal. I remember in 99 when I got the BadBoy 2000 promo CD, There were like 5 artist on there, Carl Thomas, Cheri Dennis, the girl from sister act, and some other people. Did any of them have a great career, and the answer is no. If Diddy aint in the lime light, FORGET IT. He signs these artist to development deals, and squanders away their best years as back up singers, and studio artist for his songs. RUN!
I love both songs…I think the boys and Danity Kane is gonna sell major…and Diddy did a great job in picking people who harmonize well together because both groups harmonize wonderfully.
i like this better than danity kane’s new song!! still aint a chart topper though. diddy is lackin.

IMO, I think these guys are great. It looks like some people don’t know what good music is….lol. They sing and sound good, look good and seem to perform well. I like their individual voices. Basically, they can SANG. I hope they stay humble and committed. I will be buying their CD once it drops!!!
I love “Exclusive,” the ballad and the original. And “Together” is hot, but I think “Got Me Goin” has gotta grow on me. Overall, I’m expecting good things…
