Jordin Sparks filmed the video for her third single “No Air”, which features Chris Brown this week in New York as well. The video is directed by Chris Robinson.
Black people need to stop hating-if the girl can sing and she makes it-support her. We are so fascinated on looks its so disturbing, comparing her to Kelly. It time we stop seeing all the light skinned so called pretty nice shaped people always making it because of looks. So to all the fathers and mothers out there your child can’t make it because she or he is dark skin- this is society and things will never change. I dont think Fantasia getsthe recognition she should. I am brown skin my self and love my dark chocolate man-umm scruptious!!!!!

And to say Fantasia doesn’t get the recognition she deserves is more foolishness. She won “American” Idol for goodness sakes. @64…….Yeah, Cassie, Ashanti, Ciara, Riannah, Mya and Janet are the most talented lightskin women….NOT. They all sucked a dick or 2 to get in the biz. First of all if a dark woman get a contract, you automaticly know that she is truely talented cause dark women do not have the luxury of relying on light skin & lace front wigs to get success. The unfortunate thing is there are some truely talented light women out there (Tamia, Chante Moore) but I guess these women who are married with kids are not willing to what ever it takes to get their music played.
Name all of the women who are making it on looks alone. I becha that list is 95% light skin. Now name all the songstress over the past 25yrs. I betcha that list is 95% brown or darker.

I love Estelle’s song. I really wish that Americans would back UK MC’s cause thre are a lot of us that are really good and original. Some of us are doing positive things out here, but we don’t get no support from the other side of the Atlantic. Its not fair, considering that we support Americans a lot. One of our MCs, called Bashy, recently brought out a tune called ‘Black Boys’ for our Black History month in October, and our TV regulator OFCOM tried to ban it because there were complaints that it was racist. The song was only to inspire black people and as soon as we try to do better for ourselves, we get knocked down. There’s issues going on all around the world, we need support guys.
