This is a comedy with a lot of comedians in it. Its ENTERTAINMENT. WE tend to put too much importance on ENTERTAINMENT. Yes there very well should be a lot more roles for blacks in a Drama/Thriller movie. But we don’t always get along to get the job done. Don’t no one want to fall back and let someone else shine. Everyone want to be the STAR.
For instance I went to see Cloverfield because the actors whom played in that movie I wasn’t familar with. It was a good movie and a crazy as it sounds it did have some humor in it.
I personally have more than enough going on in my life on a daily basis to be caught up in seriousness all the time. It can make a person very depressed. I put my time in raising a beautiful daughter and teaching her about the ins and outs of this world. The importance of self-worth, respect, love and honor and God. And that knowledge is POWER.
I dont want my world to be always serious all that time. If you laugh more you tend to go back into a trying situation with a lighter heart and an open mind. Don’t take the Entertainment World that serious cause if they put out more serious movies vesus comedies this world would REALLY BE SAD TO LIVE IN. So laugh and enjoy.Be serious about paying bills on time, raising and teaching your children, giving a compliment to someone, building credit and a solid foundation. Those are the things to really be serious about. Work with self first, home next and others will follow.
