Some of y’all are just hating for the sake of hating. It was a portrait studio at Sundance, which means you go as is. If you were down in Utah you would know they have a lot of activities and you have to walk around alot therefore, people are rocking comfortable attire.

I commend Diddy for trying to branch out and expand his horizons. And telling from the new trailer, he did the damn thing.. I may not like his character, but I ALWAYS give props when props are due. (a no i’m not saying this because Diddy reads CL).

Most advertisers expect there to be a big audience watching so the 3 hours includes will no doubt include long commercials - but it will definitely be worth it. This is a powerful story.

I have to ask after 13+ years in the entertainment biz do people even know why they hate Diddy so much? It’s hard to understand why most of you have a distain for someone you don’t even know & why cause they’re famous?, rich etc. Diddy & other celebs have made a career off of the fact that the more people hate you the more you stay in the game. BE HONEST if he acted the way you wanted him to act you STILL wouldn’t like him, if he handled his business the way YOU felt he should would he still be as successful? I agree he is a spotlight hound & a media whore but he chose that life a long time ago & I believe in his heart & mind he really feels he is a good person & behind closed doors he may be! WE see what he wants us to see when those cameras are on (BTW Tommy Mattola & Jimmy Iovine are just as bad if not worse they just don’t get the press)

Basically, this post is part of a campaign within the Black community Called “No Hate In 08′” yeah it sounds cheesy but the basis is to show people that we hate on famous people as if we personally know them & we take they’re actions personal is if they’ve done something directly to us. (All you guys can say bad about Beyonce is she wears lace front wigs?! How many of you would live like Jay-Z if you could afford it? when’s the last time YOU forgot to get your toes done or put lotion on YOUR knuckles?)

I was privileged to see Raisin w/ this cast a few years back in New York. From this clip I can see a lot of growth in Diddy’s performance. The stage production was very fast paced. Slowing it down to 3 hours will help the actors absorb the fine nuiances of their characters.

This had to be hard for him to do. He is working with cream of the crop actors. And the chracter he plays is so far to the left of him, he might as well be chinese. The concept of failure can be hard for an A type personality to grasp.
I think getting into the head of Walter Lee was blocking him before. Now, from these clips, looks like he’s got it. He hesitated a bit, but I think he is feeling more comfortable calling himself an actor.

People, please don’t take this play lightly. It’s not just a good story, it’s our history.
This is how things were,,,,this was our life as a people. Understanding how just a short time ago all blacks were considered sub human can help us to understand
why things like Jena 6 continue to happen.

Oh my goodness I recorded a Raisin in the Sun on my DVR and just watched it. My god Phylicia Rashad put ti down!!! Oh my goodness I forgot what a wonderful actress she was. Man she was really truly amazing to me. She had me in tears to when all of that money was gone.

Sanaa always does a wonderful job. I totally love her too and she is definitely under-rated.

Puff I didn’t think did a good job. I don’t think he was right for this role. It’s just something with his lips and seems like he is pouting all the time and has not emotions on camera.

But I loved the movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!
