Keyshia’s stylist needs to move beyond basic matching of colors… I don’t understand the way this woman dresses her… …she could do as much herself… all the lady is doing for her is color coordinating.
And, I’ve seen the lady on tv, talking about trends and giving style advice…so I don’t quite get why Keyshia’s style is so lame…the only thing that I can think is the lady is telling her “you gotta keep it real, keep it young and street” and basically taking Keyshia’s money for little more than nothing…cause people on the street dress better than that. It’s not…if you want to. But I won’t hold a professional stylist to the same standards. To put together an outfit with color coordination as a paramount object is sterile. And that’s what Keyshia’s stylist does….oh and Magic Don Juan.

It seems an interpretation of high-end pieces, sure (and that’s probably only because we know she’s rich…if she were not the pieces wouldn’t seem high end, at least not to me)…but it’s not at all a sophisticated interpretation. And, it’s youthful in that way…and I can see that being enough to make Keyshia feel justified in thinking it “street”

It seemed that after she really blew up with “I Shoulda Cheated,” her stylist tried to do okay. Her outfits in “Love” were okay… the pieces and layering was nice ( but the stylist still relied too much on color as a compass IMO). But it seemed that they got more and more into this “Keyshia is real” “Keyshia keeps it real” and her style was so simplified. I don’t know…either it’s clever marketing or her stylist is playing her because after seeing the woman talking on tv, I just don’t think she would have told Keyshia to wear that black romper with the leopard print scarf or that too little denim romper with her boobies flattened on 106th and Park or that chiffon top with the floral pattern with denim shorts a chain belt and suede bootie to her album release party…if she wasn’t playing her lol
