Singers BeBe Winans and Chaka Kahn join Oprah Winfrey at the Cast Change Celebration for New cast members joining the Broadway Production of “The Color Purple” which welcomed new cast members BeBe Winans, Chaka Kahn and LaKisha Jones on Wednesday in New York City.

Get a Clue, damn. FANTASIA’S LAST DAY WAS SUNDAY JANUARY 6TH, so what are yall talking about? SHE decided to leave then, believe me Oprah an Co wanted her to stay EVEN LONGER. She only had 24 absences in a 9 MONTH PERIOD, she said that 50 Dates mess was a LIE. And the reason Chaka & BeBe joined is because the Color Purple needs more star power since Fantasia has left, she brought in over 32 Million dollars since she joined, so the producers are looking to continue that great revenue, but unfortunately I don’t think they will. Fantasia was a gem to that production, just look at all her amazing reviews.

At first I thought of set it off when I saw the preview, but to think about it further….Set if off is way more gutter than this one. This is going to be a more of a white collar crime movie than a straight up gangster movie. I suspect this one to be more funny also. Set it off was not funny at all..it was sad.
Well I hope the Color Purple play will be better than the movie because I didn’t like the movie. I thought it was degrading, the women were made-up ugly, and it’s was very un-classy. SMH
