The New York Daily News and People Magazine are reporting that Beyoncé will join forces with legendary entertainer Tina Turner for a performance at the Feb. 10 Grammy Awards.
News of the duet comes just one day after the Writers Guild of America announced it will not picket the awards show – clearing the way for stars to attend the Los Angeles ceremony.

T.A.: Yes, I love them! I think they are hilarious especially concreteloop.com. I really don’t get offended by what they say. I remember one time I went to this event and I thought I was decked out. I think my stylist was unavailable and I dressed myself, I can’t remember, but you couldn’t tell me I wasn’t looking good and they said something like, ‘We love Tichina, but she looks like Boy George!’ and I looked at the picture and thought, Damn, I do look like Boy George and I just fell out because to me it’s all about comedy. Another blog said I had chest hairs and I’m like, They trippin’! I look good and I don’t have no damn chest hairs (laughs)!’ Most of the times when the media decides to talk about me I’m like, I don’t care what the hell they say as long as my picture looks good. But it’s only when the comments gets vicious that I can understand where folks are coming from about the negativity and hate, but I just don’t take myself that seriously. I love reading the blogs! Vanessa Simmons has recently been added to the cast of J Kyle Manzay’s Off-Broadway comedy The Actor’s Rap!, set to run January 31st through March 1st at the Baruch Performing Arts Center.
The entertainment world has become familiar with Vanessa through the popular reality show based on her family’s life, Run’s House, just picked up for a fifth season on MTV.

Tichina Arnold sylist must be very busy working with other people cause I have always thought she, Tishina Cambell & Mary J. Blidge (till recently) were the worst dress women of Black Hollywood. Back when they were on Martin and use to attend the black award shows, they would show up looking a hot mess. I could never understand why 2 women with great bodies use to dress like grandmothers. If you look at some of those old pics from the 90′s, their gowns were always to big for their small frames. Their dresses were not fitted correctly like Halle’s and Janets.

Tichina is cool as hell. I love the whole cast of Martin and I look back fondly on the memories I have of sitting around with my family every Thursday and watching that show. Then of every day thereafter until the following show cause we used to tape them and wear those episodes the hell out. Still to this day my brothers and sisters and I love to bond over Martin reruns. I met Tichina once about six years ago. I was so excited and told her what a big fan i was and then I stupidly did a skit involving her and she just laughed and laughed. LOL. Cool ass lady, love her.

@17…there’s no doubt that Tina is in a different league and is definitely a legend…but I think it would quite entertaining to watch them both perform together… I think it’s pretty hard for artists today to come up with something that hasn’t been done before because it seems everythings been done before…and the moment someone ventures out and tries to do something different than the norm the media and fans turn against you…I’m not saying it’s impossible to be original…but if you find something that works for you and people love it…then why do anything different.
