Blige sat down with Tyra Banks this week to discuss her new autobiographical album, “Growing Pains.” Mary also opened up about her life as a step-mom and her struggle to be comfortable in her own skin. Then, Tyra and Mary J. play a game called, “Share-y J. Blige,” where Mary J. reveals her biggest fear, her favorite curse word and if she’s ever gotten busy on an airplane. Mary J. also performed “I’m Fine” and “Work That” and shows off her workout routine with her celebrity trainer.

Rapper-turned-actress Queen Latifah is the new ‘face’ of Jenny Craig. Thirty-seven-year-old Latifah, born Dana Owens, can be seen strolling the streets of New York in these new TV commercials for the weight loss company, airing in the States now. Kirstie Alley has previously appeared in adverts for Jenny Craig.

The trainer that Mary J had on the show- Mark Jenkins has a great workout book. I will personally endorse his book 60 Days to a Hip Hop Hard Body..(something like that!!). By using his workout routine and adding a run/walk to my workout routing 3x a week ( and eating wisely!!!) I was able to shave off 85 pounds in a year. That book…a free pair of weights and a work out ball…you’re good to go!! You have to order the book in Barnes in Noble..bout 20 bucks…but that beats 20 bucks a month in a gym!
I saw Mary on Tyra, Mary is my girl. I am glad she proved she gets fit the right way!

I saw the Mary J. interview on Tyra and Tyra got on my nerves. She asks some dumb questions. And I LOVE MJB but I hope she doesn’t continue to “reveal” all her business as she continues to work on herself. I mean, if you’re experiencing issues and growing, put that ish to music and stop telling all these dumb interviewers your personal business.

they did a post on Queen latifah and this jenny craig thing a week or two ago. She was saying that she wasnt trying to be skinny she was just endorsing the whole idea of being healthy so dont expect her to look like Mya anytime soon
This picture of Salt-N- Pepa is definitely airbrushed! Before they received a record deal Sandy aka Pepa was a darkskin female, heavyset with a wide nose. There was a esthetcian who worked with a Dermatologist in New York named Dr Zizmor. He ran commericials on getting rid of dark spots, uneven skintone etc. Sandy was a regular there. My sister went there too and would always see her. My sister once told Dr Zizmor that she wanted her skin to lighten like Sandy and could he prescribe the same thing. He took a needle and poke my sister all over her face with some medicated stuff and gave her a presciption for Solaquin Forte. The esthetican said also she can lighten as light as you wantt but it will cost and extra 600.00. Sandy again went there as she was a regular. I don’t have any idea if she is still go to them today. They are the best if you want lighter or whiter skin but they are expensive.
