THAT is why i’m a goddamn fan. it’s so sad that the market she’s going to have to compete in is filled with mindless kids who live and die for dance-by-numbers country bamma music. **sigh**

but…greatness will always prevail.

I’m in love with this video!!! This is leap and bounds over what she has been doing for hte past few years. Many people doubted rather she still had it and this video turned out ot be a big FUCK YOU to the pessimists!!!! I’m really happy for.

Video is better than anything from last year!!! She really set the bar high on this one.

I love the part at the end in the red she looks hot! The beginning of the vid is a little dark and they could have moved that along more. She did her thing though.

it’s kind of wierd, but it’s glas to see Janet back doing what she does best. Dancing.
It’s amazing how she can lose weight so fast, she look damn good.

the more I watch this video, the more I like it. the detail is amazing.

I’m glad she did something different, and kinda stepped out on a limb and did something risque.

I like the fact she’s not doing what people expect. Take it back to when videos where creative and out there. The end when she’s in the red out fit is the business. 7/10 for me the video is a lil sluggish at parts, but creativity, detail and the energy Janet is giving is what makes it for me.

She’s amazing. She’s completely clothed and she’s hotter than she was in “So Excited”. Janet’s back.

OMG!!! There is a heaven. I love the new song and video and based on the single alone, im gonna cop the album. This is wayy better than that foolish on her last album. I returned that ish and bought a pint of ice cream and some cookies to relieve my pain. But I love what shes doin this round.

Honest Opinion Below:

I was very intrigued in the beginning when all this time (screen shots) I thought she was on some kind of ball and she was really on a planet/astroid of some sort. Hot. After about of minute of planet hopping I was like “COME ON!”

But it sped up and got interesting and in the end I like it and want to kook at it again right now. OK. I would like to state that I truly saw a different direction for this video (Almost like “Scream”) but I like this too. I think it makes the song more enjoyable because it had to grow on me anyway.

The over the top special effects takes away from the song and choreography. Most of her recent videos have relied heavily on the unnecessary computer graphics.

I have grown to love the song, “Do ya like my style? Yeah, that’s sexy! Sexy! Sexy!”

But…the jury is still out on the video, though she was working the hell outta that red outfit at the end! Video is “different.” Hmmmm…

Artistically the video was brilliant! The song - not so great. Janet’s dance moves are very similar to some of her previous videos - so I was not impressed with the choreography as well. It would be great to see her mature as an artist lyrically. Overall, I wish her well and admire her persistence!

The video is really European style but that’s kinda fresh to me. Kinda slow in the begining but you must admit the workd that out in the end!!!! Beyonce ain’t done a hot video since “baby boy”! Then that bitch got CHEAP and started cutting corners on her budget and her videos have looked liked Wal-mart commercials ever since.

Anywho, this Janet video is good (not great). Whenever an artist thinks outside the box everybody isn’t going to like it. But she get kudos for taking a chance and doing something her peers wouldn’t even try. for all those won don’t like it, give it a chance. Visually it has a lot to offer.

Janet smashes (dances) until she breaks the last planet with her hand and all of the Daft Punk androids get sucked back into the soup of life. A new Janet is shot out of the soup - free of her constraints, free of her battle gear and begins to organize the spheres of light to her making - lining up the planets the way she wants them. When she gets them just right she thrusts the last one forward, releasing them in to the universe. Thousands of spheres that shoot out of the soup of life back into space.

She sees evil around her, decides to leave her planet behind to go and fight this evil and when she wins, she gets to create the Universe she wants to live in.

But sadly, it wasn’t appreciated. Many R&B fans started abandoning her around that era and thought she was weird. They didn’t get the artistry of the album even though critics loved it! Now R&B chicks don’t even do concept albums. You couldn’t pay Beyonce, Ciara or any of the girls to do an album like “the velvet rope” or “My life” or “the miseducation”. People just don’t take chances these days. Even janet is compromising. She don’t even write her own material like she use to. I still love these heffas though!!!…lol
