Loved the show… Alicia performance was good as was Carrie Underwood, Rhianna, Tina still doing her thang. Kanye was good but Amy should not dance.

okay Why do Nas and Kelis have those shirts on were they making a statement. How ignorant I can be. During black history month we should celebrate our people not bring them down with such an ugly word. They have took it to a whole new level and for that I now have no respect for them.

the show was horrible, no one could sing. I thought Tina and beyonce would still the show but that was a mess and very disappointing…I mean its Tina, I thought she would have been he star of the show. Sadly, the music sucks and I was hoping that they would have paid tribute to alot of African-American artist since it is Black History month but you know how that goes. To sum it up the grammys was horrible and EVERYONE looks a mess.

I have come to the conclusion that the Grammy’s will never be good. They were so effing boring this year.

Kanye and his glo in the dark glasses were off the muthafuggin chain!!! Loved his performance - and Amy Winehouse’s performance was triumphant considering that she was a bleached crackwhore less than a month ago. Even though it was a cracked out performance still, you have to admit she looked and sounded waaaaaaaaaay better than she has in the past. And “shout to my Blakey incarcerated” was CLAS-SIC!! Beyonce and Tina were OK, but the rest of the program was either boring or straight garbage.

Why was Beyonce lip-synching the intro where she was supposed to be talking? And whoever designed her outfits drowned them in rhinestones, and the end result, a glittering hot mess. And she bumped Tina towards the end of the performance. She should have stayed off the stage after the intro. Tina was incredible, for a 69 year old senior citizen.

I like Kelis and Nas. They’re so down for each other. Haven’t heard the album, so I don’t know what the siginificance or justification of wearing the “N” word stems from. I’ll reserve judgment until I know where he is going with that statement.

Rihanna never disappoints. She was on point head to toe. She’s perfectly coifed, styled and dressed. That’s not my fave Rih ensemble, but she is still effortlessly luminous. Blue looks radiant on us yella bones.

Except when the blue is part of a glittery, tulle nightmare-which is what Beyonce is in that tacky prom dress. Not even her gorgeaous face could save that mess. I’m feeling the hair, but it’s just too much with that dress. If you have busy hair, you need to wear a more simple, elegant dress.

Alicia, my hero, is elegant and beaufitul and boring. She sold her glowing good looks a bit short with that psuedo-drab number. She looks really nice, but she’s missing that extra “hottie” factor in those photos.

The show left a lot to be desired -
Most of the brothers, esp. Luda, Tank, Jay Z and Young Dro looked very nice.
Many of the sisters represented well.

Nas and Kelis I am sure were attempting to make a statement, but they must know, or will know soon, most of the grammy audience don’t know them or anything about their music or the controversy over the album title, so they made a statement, just not the one they wanted to.

Amy, Amy, Amy. She still looks around like a lost tourist, but it just felt so damn good to see her up there sober and talking like she makes sense. Her voice was a off, but she can work on that again. Congrats to her.

Solange - needs a stylist….can’t get it quite right
Coline bailley rae - don’t like the shoes….dress is too much plastic
Keyshia Cole - Loved the dress and the hair…didn’t like the shoes..could have tried some pumps

Verdict:
there wasn’t anyone who stood out and don’t know what happened this year but quite dissapointing….those that looked average came out looking the best….
Hope that it will be better next year.

out of the pieces of the grammys I saw…I like the lil opening Beyonce did for Tina…after that I just wanted to see Tina and wanted Beyonce to stay off stage…I actually like the hair on Beyonce but I wasn’t feeling the dress.
