Beyonce & Tina were the highlight of the night. I wish they would have let the Time do their reunion w/o Rhianna… it just seemed too random. I loved John Mayer’s guitar solo w/ Alicia Keys (Now THAT IS Music). Kanye! nice tribute, seemed very heartfelt and it’s a nice change of pace from the tantrums.

The grammys really sucked this year. Boring and long as hell.Poor Tina she looked stiff and the performance was weak on both their parts. I think Beyonce should have just done the performance in her honor. Kanye is my boy but you only get so much time on stage and he should respect that. Rihanna and The Time was the best performance of the night. I am so sick of Alicia, why is everyone trying so hard to hype her up.

I absolutely could not wait to see one of all time favorites Tina perform- it was breathtaking. I know Beyonce is a great entertainer, but I’m in Bey overload and do not want to see her anymore- ENOUGH. Tina ROCKED it. Riri and the Time were awesome and so was Kanye. Alicia Keys and John Legend did great too. I saw Usher was with his wife- only thing I can say about that, is it got to be real love in that.

Would I ever utter “to da lef, to da lef” after saying Sarah Vaughan’s and Ella Fitzgerald’s names? lol Then, Tina did two ROCK SONGS because she is a ROCK STAR (and she ROCKED too lol) and Beyonce comes back for the final song. Blah. It just showed that, aside from mimicking her wild dancing, Beyonce has NOTHING IN COMMON WITH TINA. Beyonce’s voice did NOT meld with Tina’s and she DID step on the woman. lol!

Amy Winehouse, on the other hand, ROCKED!! I loved her performance, even though she was a bit extra with the dancing. Her style is so unique and she’s just got it…watching her is like going in some weird black contraption or something. She’s crazy artistic and deserves every one of the 5 Grammys.

Alicia’s vocals were crazy last night when she performed “No One” and she and John sounded great together I just wish she’d chosen another song. “No One” did win a Grammy or a couple but I don’t like it. She sounded great last night, though.

You need some tips in making observations, don’t you? First of all, we don’t know anybody stepped on anybody’s foot…all we know is they collided and we know that because we heard the sound, we saw the loopy camera action and we saw TINA abruptly jolt back, we heard her shrieking briefly as one might before a fall. And, when the camera angle changes, Tina is not in line with the other dancers and Beyonce. So, what would you deduce? Huh? Go watch it again on youtube before you get all indignant!

WOW!!! i loved the beyonce and tina performance. Beyonce is the sh!t. I don’t care about what anybody else says. I love Rihanna too, but her performance was ok at it’s best. I felt Kanye on his performance. It made me so sad. O n btw no beyonce did not get a nose job. i do not see any difference in her nose.

The performances that I liked were:

Amy Whinehouse, Kanye West, Alicia Keys & John Mayer, Aretha, the opera song at the end (forgot who was singing) & The Clark Sisters (they aged gracefully & still have those powerful voices).

Morris Day & Rhianna: Ok. It sparked a conversation about old school vs new school dances.

I thought Tina & Tina Jr. were going to rip it up…. but… oh well. Too bad they didnt do “Shake a tailfeather”.

Do you really expect her to move the way she did in her 20s,30s. Beyonce slowed it down for Tina, out of respect and honestly, I didnt hear no damn scream, so please calm your ass down. Overall, it was good to see them two onstage together.

Alicia Keys is amazing and Rihanna really does kind of remind me of Prince. Angel I think you should have a “Who rocked the Hairstyle Better Edition” between Riri and Prince.

Kanye almost made me cry in the end though. That was so sweet of him. And I must say, as a woman, Im so jealous of his style. God I love the way that man dresses. Light up sunglasses and all.
