It’s been a minute since I’ve chimed in on anything but this needs to be said. Sean Combs gets a lot of flack for his personal decisions and relationships, but my boy shined last night as “Walter Lee Younger” in the ABC’s version of A Raisin in the Sun. Bravo to Sean, Sanaa and all the cast. Phylicia Rasaad embodied strong black mothers of yesterday and a few of today and did the role justice. She held her family together in a story all too familar to us all. I’m no movie or “monday night special” critic, but I do watch movies and a lot of television and this was a fine representation of black struggle in the fifties and captured some of the struglles black men still are going through today. Bravo to the cast (all of which I cannot name). Bravo to ABC!

Everybody looks good (except Da Brat & Tatyana) but Vanessa & Mary killed it! Vivica has been improving lately….Da Brat needs to give it up and change her look (why is she rockin star-shaped beads?!)…Brandy needs to drop that album already!
