Ciara went into the studio because she loved “Feedback” so much and recorded some of her own vocals over the track. Honestly, I thought I would hate it – but it’s really not that bad. Janet is everything that Ciara should be aspiring to be, this late in a career. “Feedback” was the dance comeback single that Janet needed and I guess it would be any performer’s dream to jump on a track with the legendary Miss Jackson.
In any event, Ciara and Janet play a call and response game with rap and song throughout the duration of the song. It’s kind of cute. It’s a shame that this isn’t an official remix, considering that I think it would be cool for both of them. Isn’t Ciara supposed to be working on a third album?
