Ciara went into the studio because she loved “Feedback” so much and recorded some of her own vocals over the track. Honestly, I thought I would hate it – but it’s really not that bad. Janet is everything that Ciara should be aspiring to be, this late in a career. “Feedback” was the dance comeback single that Janet needed and I guess it would be any performer’s dream to jump on a track with the legendary Miss Jackson.
In any event, Ciara and Janet play a call and response game with rap and song throughout the duration of the song. It’s kind of cute. It’s a shame that this isn’t an official remix, considering that I think it would be cool for both of them. Isn’t Ciara supposed to be working on a third album?

I have to admit Ciara makes the song even better! It is a smart move on Janet Jackson’s management team’s part to get Ciara on the remix. This is just business. Ciara is a young star and Janet is trying to reach the younger demographic. My own concern is why does Janet try so hard to reach the young kids and not try to appeal to adults? I just hope Janet’s new album isn’t whack.
I think both women have there own style and and own swagger, they each brought something hot to the table and it sounds good. Alot of love/hate for Ciara. She did use the T-Pain vocals, but I think it works for the song. She definately adds something to the remix and makes it hotter, but I doubt Janet will let CiCi jump o her hit-train (by making it an official remix). But its cool.

Ciara adds nothing to the track and she took out the best catch of the song. i love the original better. anyone that likes cc over janet cc would never sell over 100 million records. I thought the remix was okay until the very ending. All the extra ad-libs toward the end of the song by Ciara were so unnecessary to me. She messed up my favorite part of the song, which is when they just play the instrumental. I think I’ll stick with the original.
