POLITICS: OH DEMOCRATIC DEBATE RECAP
Wednesday, February 27, 2008

Sens. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama debated in Ohio Tuesday evening for the last time before key primaries in the state along with Texas, Rhode Island and Vermont on March 4.
Political analysts (and even her husband) say that Clinton must win Texas and Ohio if she hopes to continue vying for the nomination.
As mentioned last week, Rasmussen Reports show Clinton leading in both states; however, Obama is gaining ground in Ohio and Clinton is leading in Texas by a single percentage point.
Tuesday’s debate offered Clinton the chance to clear the air regarding claims that her opponent mischaracterized her stances on health care and NAFTA, the North American Free Trade Agreement, which eliminated a majority of tariffs on products traded among the United States, Canada and Mexico.
“I have a great deal of respect for Sen. Obama, but we have differences,” she said. “In the last several days, some of those differences in tactics and choices that Sen. Obama’s campaign has made regarding fliers and mailers and other information that has been put out … have been very disturbing to me.”
She said her health plan would cover everyone and be affordable to everyone. She also mentioned NAFTA’s benefit to the economy in some parts of the U.S., but added that she has always felt that it needs to be improved in order to provide better labor and environmental protections in Canada and Mexico.

On Tuesday, the front page of the New York Post included a photo of Sen. Obama clad in Muslim attire.
The Drudge Report posted the photo Monday and claimed to have received an e-mail written by a Clinton staffer griping that if such an image had been taken of the New York senator, she would have been mocked.
Experts say that the photo likely won’t have any negative on Obama, but could damage Clinton.
During the debate, Clinton denied knowledge of the photograph of Obama in Somali tribal attire taken during Obama’s 2006 visit to Africa coming from one of her staff.
“So far as I know, it did not. That’s not the kind of behavior that I condone or expect from the people working in my campaign.”
Obama said he believes her. “I take Sen. Clinton at her word that she knows nothing about the photo,” he said.
Also, earlier this week, Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan endorsed Obama.
“This young man is the hope of the entire world that America will change and be made better,” he said. “This young man is capturing audiences of black and brown and red and yellow. If you look at Barack Obama’s audiences and look at the effect of his words, those people are being transformed.”
At the debate, Clinton criticized Obama for not explicitly rejecting support of Farrakhan.
“There’s a difference between denouncing and rejecting,” Clinton said. “And I think when it comes to this sort of, you know, inflammatory — I have no doubt that everything that Barack just said is absolutely sincere. But I just think, we’ve got to be even stronger. We cannot let anyone in any way say these things because of the implications that they have, which can be so far reaching.”
Other media outlets have reported that Obama’s church, Trinity United Church of Christ, and its minister, Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., have ties to the Nation of Islam and its leader. Last year, Farrakhan received the Rev. Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. Lifetime Achievement Trumpeteer Award at the 2007 Trumpet Gala and was the cover story of the November/December 2007 issue of the Trinity United Church of Christ’s magazine, Trumpet.
Obama denounced statements that he accepted Farrakhan’s endorsement.
“I obviously can’t censor him, but it is not support that I sought,” Obama said. “And we’re not doing anything, I assure you, formally or informally with Minister Farrakhan.”
Obama added, “I can’t say to somebody that he can’t say that he thinks I’m a good guy” and that he didn’t “see a difference between ‘denouncing’ and ‘rejecting’.”

I really think the the Obama and Clinton have solid viewpoints and I respect them both. However I think people are being turned off my Hilary’s tactics and approach. Maybe gender is an issue here…in the end I just think that she needs to focus on positivity and herself. I think them both both right now I am with Obama. I share his policies and feel like he can bring this country together. He just feels like a revolutionary and I don’t think Hilary can do anything about that.

LOL! Tellem Barack.
Just out of curiosity why was he wearing Muslim attire? He is a Christian so he shouldn’t even be wearing that anyway. Our God is a jealous God. And why is he in Somali attire? He is a Kenyan.???? The New York post was wrong even for publishing that picture.
The whites are getting really unsettled by the sight of Obama’s increasing support. I can tell that somethin is a-brewing and they gon pull out all the stops to prevent this handsome negro from getting into power. Do not underestimate the power of the CIA. They stole my neighbors’s cat after she reported a race crime at her job. smh.

I think the whole debate is about this healthcare thing. But where can we get info about it? They all keep saying that they have the best healthcare and it will take care of everybody but who’s telling the truth?
Also I don’t see anything wrong with Farrakhan’s endorsement. Why should Obama reject his endorsement? I don’t get it.

Personally, I believe that neither Obama or Clinton have a chance against McCain. I love both Clinton and Obama, but I am torn b/t the 2. I don’t even wanna vote in the primary this year, which is sad because I have a B.A. in poli sci and follow politics religiously. But after Bush was re-elected in 04, I’ve learned to not get my hopes up, period.

Barack dose better everytime he debates, which is why Hillary should quit asking for them. I always find things I think he should have done a little better, but he gets better every time and he was flawless last night imo.
Side note: If Hillary want’s to be the next president, then why is answering questions first bothering her?
And is it me or was she being petty when she said, it’s not enough to just denounce he should say reject. I understood perfectly what he was saying.
In the end of her closing remarks she reference to becoming the first woman president, is that what she is in it for personal gain, because if Barack would of said becoming the first African American president there would of for sure been a back lash.

The Saturday Night Live pillow comment made by Clinton was cheap and pathetic. Obama was statesman-like. He was cool, calm and collected throughout debate. Clinton also lost points with the ‘reject’ vs ‘denounce’ thing. Give me a break… Talk about nit picking. And what’s the deal with her tax returns? Why hasn’t she made them public? Obama has made his tax returns public. Where does one get five million dollars to lend to ur campaign. It seems as though the Clintons are hiding something.

I really think the woman has a disorder (and I am serious not joking here) she can go from hot to cold within seconds and I think she should get help. Barack is really running against 5 diffrent people, Hillary has multiple personalities which is why he may get confused sometimes he dosn’t now which on to address.

If those are the kind of views you espouse, then I urge you to rethink aligning yourself with the liberal politics, let alone supporting Barack. Christian “superiority,” besides not even making much sense from the supposed Christian view, is the same school of thought that fueled so much imperialism, colonization, genocide, and yes, SLAVERY over the course of humanity’s history. Let’s be careful, now.

My church (I attend a Pentecostal church, which is a branch of Christianity in case you did not know) had international Sunday this past Sunday, and a lot of people who are from other countries (we have a lot of them in our church) wore the traditional clothing form their regions, it’s a sign of respect not worshiping another God.

esxcuse me Provost. You got some real nerve to try and assume my particular brand of religious views based on that quote not to mention trying to derive my political views from that same quote. You also have some nerve talking about superiority to me when you see fit to call yourself ‘Provost’. That little spiel was entirely unnecssary. I believe that my God is a jealous God however I also believe in loving my neighbor and loving my enemy, an attitude which the Christians whom you allude to did not display. Do not get it twisted sweety because you are ignorant, out of your depth and clearly eager for unnecessary drama. Dismissed

Do not get it twisted. I would have no problem in terms of my Christian faith, for people to celebrate other CULTURES. Wearing clothes from different REGIONS is different from wearing clothes associated with different RELIGIONS. I was asking why Barack, a lifelong Christian, was wearing Muslim attire.

Whatever you may believe about your religion, it was a pretty ignorant statement. For one, cultural attire does not = religious attire. Islam does not have a monopoly on white linen and turbans.

I think this election has showed Hillary’s true colors (no pun intended). She thought this election would be a shoe in for her, and now she see’s she actually has to work for this. And she is the one who broke the truss between her and Obama with the talking sideways and greasy for the last two weeks, cause she’s slipped and can’t get up. lol….the short of it is, i had more respect for her as a woman before she started campaigning. They say adversity brings out the true you, and i don’t like her true self. She’s a cry baby, and not a good loser at all; and before someone else say’s it, i don’t think her actions in the past weeks have anything to do with her fighting to stay in the game. I think this is her true personality, and it’s disappointing.

______________________________________________________________________
I didn’t get twisted lol, you asked so I thought I was helping by informing you. Now the point I was attempting to make was, the clothes are not “Muslim attire” as you put it, but actually clothing that represents the region and culture of which he was visiting. Most (but not all) Muslims that you see in that particular style of dress, are honoring, celebrating or paying respect (which ever one you like) to the region/culture in which the style started which is the middle east.Culture and religion are not the same the clothing he wore was celebrating the culture.
I hope I have explained it better and you understand now.

Denounce: To condemn openly as being evil or reprehensible.
It sounds like Denounce is the stronger word, see what happens when Hillary makes something out of nothing. lol Barack was like hey if that’s what you want to hear then I reject, he should of said FYI denouce is a stronger word.

Um, just tossing this in but has anybody given thought to the fact that there are some Rovian manuevers at play here?
I’ve known this for awhile, but yesterday’s photo of Barack in traditional African garb, cinched it for me. Most papers were attributing it to a leak from the Clinton campaign. But it smacks of Republican tactics. Then there are the overwhelming amount of wins for Barack. Now, I’m not saying it’s not possible that he could have won those primaries, but there is word that Republicans are becoming “Democrats For A Day” in order to influence the results. The reasoning behind this is that not only do the Republicans despise Hillary with a passion, they FEAR her as they believe she is truly the candidate to contend with. Once they eliminate her, they’ll consider Obama to be small change, and then the REAL dirty games will begin.
Now I am at this point a cautious Obama supporter, as I’m sleeping with one eye open and considering ALL the angles. For me, as far as politics are concerned, it’s always best to adopt the belief that NOTHING is ever what it appears to be.

I get what you’re trying to say, but that outfit isn’t “Muslim attire” it’s traditional Somalian robes that he was presented with by Somalian leaders as appreciation and gratitude for his visit because he was in Africa trying to help politically. When public figures (whether politicians or celebrities) go to different countries, especially African ones, they’re usually presented with the country’s traditional clothing and photographed in them. You can find Angelina Jolie, Beyonce and Jay-Z, and even President Bush have done it. They(Hillary Clinton staffers) just used the picture to try and “scare” voters into thinking those stupid “Barack Hussein Obama is secretly a Muslim intent on ruining our country” email HER STAFFERS put out months ago.

Hellary was downright livid over those fliers, yet she has openly mocked Obama and compared his experience to that of George Bush. She’s just mad her campaign doesn’t have enough money to send out as many mailers and fliers. And notice the sly “as far as I know” part of her response to allegations that her camp sent out those pictures to the drudge report. She didn’t completely deny having anything to do with the picture surfacing. Some people are so scared of voting for someone with any remote ties to Muslims, and the media is pandering to that fear. So what, if Louis Farrakahn endorsed Obama? He was unfairly backed into a corner with that question. I wonder if Farrakahn will back out of supporting Obama the way a conservative radio talk show host backed out of supporting McCain after he (McCain) denounced the talk show hosts comments about Obama during a recent rally.

The whole thing the Clinton campaign is doing is really just reminding us that even they think Black = bad. What else could they be telling us in putting out a picture of him in traditional garb as if it’s a bad thing? I expect that from those on the far right, where a lot of conservative talk show hosts have gone out of their way to mention Obama’s full name because Hussein is his middle name. (I even came across a story a few hrs ago about a radio talk show host who warmed up a crowd before McCain recently mentioning Obama’s full name three times in just a few minutes.) It just reminds me of something I’ve said often - unless one is a politician, honesty is the best policy. If one is a politician, all bets are off.

Hillary Clinton is a flip flopper. She has done and said what is convenient for her at the moment. I think she handled herself last night, but she also presented herself as a whiner. Is it because hse is a woman that we are calling her a whiner? hmmm Who knows but I did like Hil as First Lady. I can’t vote for her based on her issues because she flip flops on certain issues I care about. I don’t think Hil would be respected globally as President. Some cultures have very stong views on a “woman’s place in society” and she may not be regarded with respect if she were in such a role.. We need her in the Senate where she is now to ensure that things get done and issues important to middle and lower class America are not over-looked.
Obama is a sharp, well-spoken, intelligent man and stayed on top of Hil’s snide remarks at times. I feel he is what America needs as far as bringing cutlures and ethnicities together. He was very calm and knowledgeable in his responses. He was also very eloquent and gave her credit for the experience that she does have esp since she wouldn’t let anyone forget it either..lol….loved his closing remark…. and she climbed on board of his closing remark as well… of course she had to throw in a dig or two…
What we don’t need is J McCain in office, he’s old with old ideas from the current office that will have to be cleaned up and detoxed from all sorts of failures. Whomever gets into office will definately take the blame for Bush’s mess… They may consider Barack to be just that guy… But Barack is to the US what NY’s Mayor Bloomberg is to NY… NECESSARY!
Watch the debate and make an informed decision when you VOTE!!

I think that instead of coming off as powerful or authoritative. Hillary often comes off as angry and defensive in her debates. I’m personally voting for Obama, but I do believe that if Hillary were a man her debate tactics would be interpreted in a much more favorable light. Her personality seems especially abrasive against someone like Obama who has a very cool, calm, and collected demeanor. I think that if we ever hope to have a woman in office, hopefully she’s taking notes to see what works and what doesn’t work because Clinton is definitely not working right now. We can’t cry or get emotional on national TV like Hillary has done on a couple of occasions because that’s seen as weak, and we can’t be too overly aggressive because it’s taken as b*tchy and combative.

No one can say his accomplishments or one big thing he has done besides Not voting for Iraq war and being first serious black man that is a contender…I just hope he has plans but I feel like McCain is going to whip his ass in the general election because then the media won’t be so kind and he would have to talk policies and not speeches of togetherness.

Set-Up?
Wednesday, February 27, 2008 /
I’m really starting to believe the rumors that are out that Blacks/Democrats are being set up by Republicans because it’s shaping up to make sense.
The Whites/Republicans are voting for Obama NOW to get Hilary out of the race. They know Hilary can beat McCain or any other Republican and so they want Obama to run against whomever. Once Hilary’s out all their votes are going to the Republican that’s running.
I’ve always believed Obama wouldn’t win and/or be killed if elected (even though it would be great if he did - history!) Hilary could do the same if not more that people need that the Republicans won’t do for communities (still historical!).

Agree with you all they way. Do you know some of the black supporters of Hillary Clinton like Senator Tubbs of Ohio and Tavis Smiley have received death threats!!! That is beyond despicable. Obama’s followers are rude and mean. Like earlier post calling Hillary a “Bitch” and saying “fuck her: and all that. I might not support Obama, but no use to name calling. I respect the man cause I do feel he is intelligent and one day will make a good president just not now. He is still novice and this is not the time to teach, we need a teacher, not a student teacher. All that crap just shows how ignorant some of us really still are. I say this, I know I couldn’t be out their doing what she is doing on the daily and I have to respect that vice versa Sen. Obama. You guys really need to calm down with all that name calling cause white people already talk about enough and give more reason to.
@67 & 68
You know I was called name for talking about the setup (which I been saying for months) but I say if he gets the nod, I won’t have to speak on it no more cause it will all come to light. If he gets the nod, the media that has been loving and promoting him so much will do a complete 180 on him. The starting to do it now, slowly, but if he gets the nod, then all bets are off. McCain and the Republican machine are going to rip him apart, they don’t care about being called racist and all that, and they will make stuff up about him. That’s why I feel for Hillary cause she can’t criticize him without being called a bitch or racist or all that mess. This is a setup, Hillary is the better candidate, and the Republicans do not want to deal with her in November, but a rookie like Obama is just fresh meat.

I don’t understand why it was expected of Barack Obama to reject or denounce the support of Min. Louis Farrakhan. Forget all the rumors that Obama is Muslim. I do not appreciate the fact that some consider Farrakhan’s support to less valuable or important than that of any other person of this nation. Despite whatever he’s involved in, he is still a U.S. citizen. That’s like saying candidates should only accept the support of Christian voters. Also, what is the big deal if Obama wears another culture’s traditional attire? These people are ridiculous!

if Republicans had a “plan” to set Obama up, i think its really stupid to choose him.
They shoulda chose to go against Hillary if they wanted to win
for
1 )- Republicans hate her so those who don’t like McCain or the direction of the republican party would still ensure they go out to vote against her. As compared to Obama whom alot of Republicans happen to like and would vote for . Theres no real HATE for Obama except around these inconsequential bigots who no one give a fuck about anyway..
2) Independents sway over to Obama also , so you’re gonna lose independent votes if Obama is the candidate.
3) Obama supporters are fanatics, and they especially dont like Hillary so some of em would prolly go over to Reps if Hillary were the candidate.
4) The pt is Hillary divides the country, and that divide would only benefit the Republicans…esp if she divides the Democratic party.
5) unless they have some major shit to bury Obama with, he would easily win the Presidency, unless Nader throws a monkey wrench in and steals the votes. McCain will probably out himself also, he says a whole lotta bullshit, im sure he will put his foot in his mouth over and over again, and the republican campaign seems clueless ..same as the Clinton campign. In my opinion the Clinton’s are usually best at campaigning and if Obama can beat them he can beat anybody.
6) Check the polls http://www.cnn.com/2008/P...schneider.poll/index.html and see who Republicans feel is harder for McCain to beat, they overwhelmingly prefer to have Hillary, so this “plan” is not shared by the vast majority of Republicans
“The USA Today-Gallup poll asked Republicans which Democrat would McCain have a better chance of beating.
The answer: Clinton 66 percent, Obama 18 percent.”
And i mean seriously if McCain were to beat Obama, i’m moving to Canada..

You answered your own question, THEY HATE HER. They want none of her, and these polls say one thing now, but since you want to throw polls out there, the new ones show McCain beating both Hillary and Obama. Those things change with the win anyways, especially with there being like 100s out there. And another interesting poll I just read showed where Hillary has a 41 point lead against Obama with Registered Latino voters in Texas. 62%- to 21%. Now if that is true, how in the world are they neck and neck in Texas. Cause he doesn’t cut into the Latino vote in Texas which makes up almost 40% of the Democratic vote I don’t see no way in hell how it will be neck and neck. But my point is, forget the polls, cause they can be accurate but misleading sometimes. We all just have to see what goes down next week in Texas.
Side Note: Independents are voting for him in the Primaries, but that does not mean they will vote for him in the General election, it’s a whole different ball field then.

Don’t quite care about Latinos in Texas and all that, the democratic party seems to already know their nominee its just a matter of time
the focus is beating McCain…

The Republicans are scared of her cause she will go toe to toe with them and won’t back down from what she think is right and what she stands for. Obama from what I have see caves in or just want peace so he won’t fight for something even if he knows its right. His 130 or so present votes showed me that.
As far as Latinos, you need to care about them cause for any Democrat to win the general election, they have to win California. If come next Tuesday, the Latinos in Texas overly vote for Hillary Clinton, that is a problem for Obama. He is not connecting with them and will need them in the general election. Also in New York and Florida. And both California and Florida have Republicans Governors that will go to bat for John McCain and they are both popular in their states. SO HE NEED LATINOS, you better believe that.
I am looking at the bigger picture. Like almost all the states he has won during this democratic primary/caucus season have been and always will be red states in the general election (if you think Utah, Idaho, Kansas, and etc are going to go to Barack in the general election you smoking). Back in the 04 election the polls had John Kerry beating Bush by even bigger margins during the nomination season (like 15-20%) and with the way Bush was running this country into the ground, we all were sure no one would vote him back in, and look at what happen. Kerry was a weak candidate and so will Obama be. Clinton is the only one to take them on, they know it and that’s why they want her out so they can pick Obama’s apart.

I think Senator Clinton is beginning to show signs of frustration, and rightfully so. Less than 1 year ago, she was the favorite to win the Democratic nomination. What happened? Someone talked a very charismatic, but less qualified, candidate to run against her. She is more qualified to lead our nation, but losing because of her personality. However, personality alone cannot lead a nation. Experience on a national and international level are also required. As previously stated, if they both were men, or both women, or if she were a white man and Senator Obama a black woman, we wouldn’t be having this conversation. She has been set up and torn down by her own party, betrayed by people she considered friends and supporters, wrongly painted as a racist, and has received unfair treatment by the media, especially by the hosts of the political shows. Once the media has turned against you, there’s nothing you can do. A Clinton/Obama ticket would have been a “sure thing.” If Senator Clinton is not on the Democratic ticket in 2008, The Democrats will not win. The Republicans will jump on Senator Obama’s lack of experience, and if there is any dirt, scandal or skeletons to find in his closet, the media outlets will work overtime to reveal all of them to us.

A month ago Barack was behind double digits in some polls, so do we really think he said something from then to now, that has just jumped him way out there, the republicans want him to win. If he gets the nod than the press are gonna start negative about him too, the only reason it hasnt started is because no one wants to seem like the racist type, all thanks to Bill Clinton big mouth. Do we really think that most white people don’t want a white woman president but would like a black president, lol thats funny times havent changed that much yet. I just hope most black people are voting for Barack because they understand where he is going and like his policies, than the fact that well he’s black he got my vote.

Onemil02 first off that article is incredibly biased and is obviously Pro-Clinton, so im good on that
I do kno the Latino vote matters but im pretty sure she will not win by such a large margin if she wins at all..
Do you know why Obama isn’t connecting with them? because latinos are racist against blacks…it has nothing to do with what hes about. and its not like he has no latino support
The reason they are voting for hillary is cuz of Bill, i honestly dont know what the clintons have done for latinos for them to be such staunch supporters…they are voting off of familiarity and race…
theyd trust a white man anyday over a blk man…
i still dont get how Hillary is tougher for Reps, your arguments r going over my head or maybe ur not stating it clearly, she cannot handle pressure, look how silly shes been actin on this campaign, when shes next to Obama shes all lovey dovey, when shes on the campaign trail its war. She is constantly whining and making a fool or herself, she has turned off democrats in much the same way Reps are turned off by her.
And they are less turned off by Obama, he is dynamic enough a candidate to garner support easily for the coming elections. Like i said they need something big to pin him with, Those little stupid things they throw at him are all weak, that man is way too smart to play into their games. i.e that alQaeda in Irag b.s
Unless they can find pictures with Obama in a underground hole with Osama somewhere i dont see how theyre gonna beat him. Black as he is and im not naiive, but Obama is a force to be reckoned with for General Elections….he would kill the reps with swing votes
I bet u Dems are praying he wins so they can have him on the ballot, the only way hillary can win the G.E is if Obama is VP…other than that shes dooomed…
if u think Reps will pick him apart shit what will they do to her? Obama has barely come at her and shes already falling apart, and her campaign is delusional.
and please no Obama Kerry comparisons. please..

I liked Bill Clinton as a president but didn’t he that same approach with Kim Jong II and N. Korea that Obama is trying to say he will take with N. Korea and the rest of the world. It’s extremely naive.
Learn from your mistakes people. N. Korea just took advantage of him and the U.S. and didn’t bother even complying with U.S. regulations. Bill attempting to normalize diplomatic relations with N. Korea and even offered aide to N. Korea. Meanwhile Kim Jong II was producing weapons grade plutonium and secretly tryin gto enrich uranium. I think in foreign policy Obama is extremely naive to the reality of the world and obviously has not learned from Clinton’s mistakes. However, I think Bill learned from his mistakes and realized it just doesn’t work like that in the real world no matter how much you want to ‘change’ and negotatiate with adversaries.
I believe Hillary also learned a lot from Bill’s mistakes evidenced by her responses in debates that she would only met and negotiate with preconditions and some leaders are not worth meeting with given their history and the history of those particular countries. Obama is just naive about domestic and foreign policy and in particular how to deal with U.S. adversaries. To me that is a clear indication that he is not ready to be president and that Hillary and McCain (seriously) are more prepared to be president. But then you know Americans never seem to learn from their mistakes or past history. For some odd reason people believe Obama can wave a magic wand over the world and everyone will sing Kumbya and be happy. This reality is Obama is not running for president he is running to lead a movement almost like a cult built on this false reality of hope and change. Change only comes over time and only through experience which clearly Obama does not have. The responses that Obama gives at times in regards to his foreign poilcy are downright scary including comments he made in several debates that he has no problem bombing Pakistan without cause. The media really needs to start questioning him hard on comments like this that could possibly lead to world wars and or leave the U.S. utterly defenseless and at the mercy of our adversaries. The media has done a terrible job at this and the democratic primaries continue to be an American Idol contest and not about the serious issues we face in this country.

——————While your’re calling everyone naive, you sit there with no

——————And, I venture to say, you cannot predict how effective Obama will be
——————with America’s adversaries! You sound like George Bush Sr. when
——————Jesse Jackson flew home with the POWs. A great lack of faith!
——————I would rather see Obama wave a magic wand that to see Bush waving

King of Meats, yeah I lack faith in OBama because OBAMA IS NOT GOD or the 2nd COMING OF CHRIST. Obama is a junior senator from Illinois who hasn’t done anything for Illinois and got lucky. Sorry pure luck and being in the right place at the right time has catapulted him into the national spotlight.
LOL at the fact that you say I lack faith. It just show how cult like Obamaloons are. He is not Christ or a religious leader. He is a politician and the only difference between him and the rest is he can hide it better. If you are really that naive to believe Obama will wave a magic wand over DC and the gates of heaven will open and a chorus of angels will sing and the world will become perfect and at peace then you are just are loony and lost as those scientologist or Jim Jones followers. You guys are not supporters of Obama, you are followers of Obama and that is dangerous. Put your faith in God and not in man. Obama is trying ts trying to become president of America not King of Heaven. Be for real.
History has not taught stupid Americans anything. Clinton while a good president tried negotiating and it didn’t work with N. Korea at all. Do you think Obama is gonna be any better. That he has some magic power that will make Kim Jong II fall to hsi knees and see the error of ways. LOL. Be serrious. Obama is gonna be another Jimmy Carter who was an extreme liberal, charismatic anti-war guy who was a terrible president. Has history not taught you anything. People like Obama and Bush are nothing but extremes of their party. One being an extreme liberal, anti-war, kiss and make up panderer and the other being an extreme neo-conservative, pro-war, aggressive panderer.Bush has caused us to extend our resources and cause some friction with other countries. Obama will probably extend our resources and could cause even further economic turmoil as we potentially head into a recission. He also could leave us utterly defenseless and making the same mistakes we made in the past. He will not usher in a new area in America. He will be the same old same old. Just like Carter. Both Bush and Obama are nothing put extremes of their parties and both lacked experience and a real understanding of how the world works.
The problem is Americans have not yet realized that the president needs to be a moderate like Hillary or McCain and someone with experience. Someone who has a grasp of the issues and real solutions for America but who is also bipartisan and moderate in their views and knows how to compromise. And Meeting with people like Kim Jong II, Pakistan, Iran etc .and negotiating does not work especially without preconditions and a real understanding of the history of these countries and their leaders. Extreme candidates in either party are just bad for America because they do nothing but try and push their agenda.

jayla06, i’m alot of things, childish being one of them, Ignorant ? no ill pass on that.you don’t know me so say what u will
i still think you’re a dumbass….majority of you come here giving hypothetical reasons for why not to vote for Obama, oh its a set up , oh its a conspiracy… No black man will ever win…
well I don’t like defeatist theories and the comments on here about kumbaya and magic wand and all that are too cynical and there not even original as they come right out of T.V… i mean seriously, when u start sayin bullshit like that is why i realize im dealing with dumbasses…
You for one have been saying people voting for Obama are ignorant - who are you to tell people their choice is an ignorant one? So i assume Iowa is ignorant, Maryland is Ignorant, Virginia is Ignorant, Wisconsin is Ignorant, Georgia is Ignorant….etc etc etc
Who made you God and Know it all of Politics? You & wack music and others are quite silly to me, i have no problem with u voting for Hillary that’s your prerogative, but when you act like your choice is somehow the smarter more politically educated choice, thats when i tune out. Don’t give me conspiracy theories, tell me why Hillary is more capable or more experienced, show me her credentials, trust me i’ve looked it up and aint shit poppin…
Tell me how exactly, when Hillary and Obama’s plans are almost identical - yet Obamas’ are Unrealistic? Is that Logic?
If you want the real TRUTH, Go to the LIBRARY OF CONGRESS website, look up these people’s records then come back to me. Side by side run down of Hillary and Obama’s record what they have actually done…heres a start , from a completely unbiased MOTHER who refused to buy into Obama’s “Hype”

HILLARY CLINTON IS A BOLD FACE LIAR!!
WATCH THE YOUTUBE VIDEO TITLED: “THE SHOCKING VIDEO HILLARY DOES NOT WANT YOUR TO SEE”.
THE VIDEO CONCERNS HILLARY CAMPAIGN FINANCING FRAUD, WITH A MAN NAMED PETER PAUL. THIS CASE IS CURRENTLY IN COURT IN CALIFORNIA. SOMEHOW THE MAIN STREAM MEDIA HAS DECIDED NOT TO TELL THE WHOLE TRUTH ABOUT HILLARY CLINTON!! Hillary Clinton is facing a Campaign Finance Fraud case in court in California. Apparently she had a man named Peter Paul do a fund raising event for her U.S. Senator election campaign, raising $1.2 million dollars for her. After it was revealed that Peter Paul had a criminal background, Hillary lied about knowing him, or receiving $1.2 millions in campaign financing from him. She also filed documents with the FEC, and did not report the $1.2 million dollars she had received from the campaign fundraiser, WHICH IS A FELONY.
VIDEO evidence, and PHONE CALL evidence, and LETTERS evidence (as seen in the youtube video) is going to be presented in court in California in his lawsuit against Hillary Clinton, and she will most likely be charged with a felony.
The mainstream press has for some reason been ignoring this story fact, but it is for us to search out the truth.
It is imparitive that people know this information before they vote, because Hillary, with yet another fraud case pending, where there is physical proof of her participatig in the fraud, on video tape, will NOT become president, and will be prosecuted!
Democrats need to know the facts so they don’t waste their votes on this dishonest woman who will not make it to the White House. This information is in the public domain, and the courts, and the Republicans will surely use it during the general election.
WE DO NOT WANT TO PUT ANOTHER PATHELOGICAL LIAR LIKE HILLARY, AND HER ACCOMPLICE, HER LYING HUSBAND, THE WORST LYING PRESIDENT TO DATE, BILL CLINTON, BACK IN THE WHITE HOUSE.
THE YOUTUBE VIDEO IS A MUST SEE: IT’S CALLED –”THE SHOCKING VIDEO HILLARY CLINTON DOES NOT WANT YOU TO SEE”,
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR VOTE ON THIS DISGRACEFUL WOMAN, VOTE FOR SOMEONE WITH INTEGRITY.
