Garcelle Beauvias-Nilon gets extra kudos from me for looking great carrying two in her oven! Before delivering her sons Jax and Jaid, she definitely carried them with style and sophistication…

A FEW MATERNITY FASHION TIPS:
- Empire waist is the way to go! Tunic shorts and Baby doll dresses are your best friends.
- Have fun showing off your belly with stretch materials and leggings ala Halle and Nicole. Check out body wear from Rick Owens, and American Apparel.
- Skinny jeans are available for maternity moms! Visit apeainapod for True Religion and Seven’s options.
- High heels can be safe during pregnancy, but it is recommended that you lower the heel the more your belly grows. You can be fashionable but also be smart about your body and baby!

DAMN I’m late! Had no clue J-Lo was pregnant…
Um I’m not trying to be mean or anything. They all look great, and yes, i guess having ababy is a wonderful blessing..but um, I never did see anything remotely attractive about having a gut stick out 5 feet from yo body. So when people talk about it being beautiful, I truly do not understand. They look bloated, and uncomfortable despite the smiles they put on for the cams. Its horrible our society makes pregnancy look appealing, because I’m sure many every day women who have had babies would strongly disagree on it being all glamour. I just hope one day when i get MARRIED and decide to start a family that my experience is not as miserable as it looks!
First, I love Halle’s maternity wear…when I had my oldest it was tent clothes and I almost want number 4 to rock the new styles…cause i always have a cute belly when I am preggers…

When you are pregnant, since you didn’t pay attention in biology…it is not a gut, it is an actual growing BABY inside your stomach that causes it to “stick out”…sometimes there are more than one in there! Imagine that!
I am a woman…not an ordinary woman and you are so wrong…pregnancy is beautiful and wonderful and I was fierce from the moment of conception to when my boys were introduced to the world…..if you are ever BLESSED enough to be preggers…I pray that you are not like those crazy chicks that eat lettuce but embrace the wonder that is God’s creation and design.
