New music has leaked from Janet Jackson’s tenth studio album, Discipline. “Luv” sounds like a production by Tricky Stewart, The Dream and the people are RedZone. Apparently, it’s rumored to be the follow-up single to Janet’s dance smash, “Feedback.” Even though it’s not the dance track I was expecting, I see where this would fit into what’s going on in radio right now. It’s very friendly and I could see this song creep up the chart. Also leaked was “Rock With U,” where Janet samples the voice on her brother’s song of the same titled.

I like this song a lot. The sample of Michael’s “Rock With U” is subtle and understated, but you can hear the influence. I love the delivery of the song, I think Janet took us back a little bit on this record. These two tracks have really peaked my interest as far as what Janet’s going to give us on the rest of Discipline. Can’t wait.

i love this song..very nice,, and i love feedback as well! I cant wati to get her new album! I hope it does as well as Velvet Rope. That is still my fav album till this day!
I think the Janet Syndrome (not saying that in a negative way), much like the Beyonce Syndrome (again, not saying it negatively!), has hit hit CL well and truly. Fans and dissenters alike!

I don’t know why people are getting mad at each other. Can we act like adults here for a second? Geesh? If someone says they don’t like one of the singles the individual is entitled to his or her own opinion. Music is subjective. I personally love both songs and that’s my personal opinion. However, my views are no more valid then anybody else. All I know is I am a die hard Janet Jackson fan and I am purchasing the album anyway. I just hope this new CD “Discipline” is better then 20 Y.O. I think 2O Y.O. is perhaps Janet’s worst album ever. I just hope the rest of the tracks on this new CD are hot.

why does she sound so nasal on luv damn! i like the beat but i”mnot feelingjanet on it. rock with u is big tho discipline should be good but if that is the tracklistings its too long album usually run out of steam when they are that long like mjb growing pains i think 15 songs is enough for a good solid album.

For those who said ciara wouldn’t release anything like feedback… you should listen to the ciara remix… or should I say the “unofficial” ciara remix that she was sooooo pressed to record because she wanted to ride janet’s coat-tails… she didn;t even have permission to record it and was forced to pay royalties… sooooo… stop hating on my wife! I have the entire album (sorry ms. jackson, i couldn’t wait) and plan to buy it when it’s officially released…
