@ 70: Agreed. I’m from LR & I was wondering the same thing about black history month. And you know when the dedication ceremony happened back in Sept, they specifically said “Dont let their works become a sacrifice or distant memory and sure enough…. not much else has been done.

Also: when I was younger, every Black History Month, black movies that meant something (e.i.- The Ernest Greene Story, The Vernon John’s Story, My Brother Martin, ect). This year, I’ve only seen 1 out of these and others.
