On Monday, the cause of death of rapper Chad “Pimp C” Butler was revealed to have been accidental. The Houston Chronicle reported that an over dose of cough medicine with the mixture of Butler’s sleep apnea, was fatal for 33 year-old rapper.
As many of you probably know, another popular Texas figure-head, DJ Screw, was found dead in 2000 after reportedly overdosing on the same medication-laced preparation. Damn Shame.
BRANDY’S MOM SUES KIM KARDASHIAN
Sonja Norwood, mother of R&B singer Brandy, is suing reality television family the Kardashian’s, claiming that they ran up more than $120,000 worth of expenses on her credit card when Kim Karadashian was employed as Brandy’s stylist back in 2004.
According to documents obtained by TMZ.com,
Ms Norwood alleges that Kim “was authorized to make one (and only one) purchase on behalf of the Plaintiff, using Plaintiff’s American Express credit card. Neither Kim nor any of the other Defendants were ever authorized to make any further purchases on, or charges to, Plaintiff’s credit card.” The lawsuit claims that Kim disclosed the details of her credit card to other members of her family, and that “each of them, have improperly, and without any permission or authority whatsoever, made charges to Plaintiff’s credit card, claiming to be employed by Brandy or Plaintiff in one capacity or another.”
Norwood states that a total of $120,653.65, “calculated thus far”, is owed by the Karadashian’s, and that they used the credit card to make purchases in their own stores ‘Dash’ and ‘Smooch’.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the Kardashians denied the allegations.
“The charges against the Kardashians are meritless,” the statement said. “Both Kim and Khloe were employed by the Norwoods and never used their credit cards without their express authorization. The Kardashian family looks forward to proving the absurdity of these claims in a court of law.”
Kim does have money. She won some kind of settlement in the millions, don’t know what it was for. Not to mention that her (deceased) father was a famous attorney, and that her mother is married to a former Olympian, Bruce Jenner. So at the very least, she has access to a significant amount of cash.
I find it hard to believe that Sonja Norwood just pulled a rabbit out of her hat and decided to sue Kim out of nowhere. She must have empirical evidence to support something like this. Of course the Kardashian bunch is going to deny it what are you going to say “hellous yeah, I came up”.
Hopefully, this can be resolved so both parties can move on.

Rapper Pimp C’s Death Ruled Accidental
LOS ANGELES — Coroner’s investigators have determined the death of the rapper known as Pimp C was an accident.
Capt. Ed Winter of the Los Angeles County coroner’s office said Monday that 33-year-old Chad Butler suffered from sleep apnea and his condition reacted badly with codeine-containing cough medicine he took.
Butler’s body was found in a West Hollywood hotel room in December.
Winter said the levels of promethazine and codeine cough syrup in the rapper’s system “were not that of an overdose.”
Pimp C, a native of Port Arthur, Texas, was one-half of the pioneering Southern rap duo UGK, or Underground Kingz.
The group’s self-titled CD topped the Billboard charts last year.

The lawsuit filed earlier this week alleges that Kim and her siblings abused the Norwood’s credit cards to the tune of $121,635.
