Even though this isn’t the first single from Keri Hilson’s debut album, In A Perfect World…, I am so excited that new material is finally leaking from the album. Keri has been working so hard on the debut, which features productions from Timbaland, Polow Da Don, Danjahandz and more. “Get It Girl” is a fun female-empowering, up-tempo track and it’s off Timbaland’s first mobile album for Verizon Wireless subscribers.
I am super excited. This isn’t my first encounter with “Get It Girl.” I was dancing super hard in the seat of the car the first time it got played for me. Be sure to check for In A Perfect World… this summer.

I think Danja,Polow and company are a bunch of big hype.I’m actually quite bored with them producing everybody’s song.YAWN.I like Keri, but this isn’t doing it for me.
This song sounds like a PCD song or a Ciara song. I like Keri alot but it seems that she cannot find her own distinctive sound. Her look is different to me. She doesn’t really look like no one else. As far as her sound, it sounds like everything that is out right now, Her sound is too typical. I heard all of the tracks that leaked from her and wasn’t impressed. The only song that she should’ve released was “Miscommunication” and “Your Cover’s Blown” those sound like hits. This song right here is just okay. With that said I think Keri is better off as writing songs for other people than herself. That seems like her calling because some people can write a song perfectly for someone else than themselves. I love Keri though she seems like a genuine person who wants this so bad but she seems trapped and pressured because she is working with the hottest producers in the game right now! I love Keri and I wish her the best despite the subpar music choices.
The song is decent. I like it.
oh, and she’ll do fine regardless if her songs are hot or not, because people are already sackin her and her album hasn’t even come out yet.
There is just something about this girl that people are fascinated with, I don’t know what it is, but everyone is in love with her for some reason. maybe it’s a fad?

Even if some of us did not read the caption above the song or jumped the gun as to who produced this. The negative reactions of some to the song are still valid. Keri can do much better and we know that. That’s why people are being honest instead being “Stans” and acting like anything she breaths on is fire. This song sounds tired and if you are trying to build a buzz as an artist you put your best foot forward every time. She can easily get caught in the same trap that Nicole Scherzinger is now in were they kept throwing garbage out there and now NO ONE is checking for her solo joint. I believe Timbaland did this track with help from Danja or the Royal Court guys. She may have been in a situation were she could not say “This track sounds like some old left over Ginuwine 90′s shit” She did what most artist would do. Write the song , get on the project and be done with it. The song still sucks
@74 It dosnt matter. If your in the studio you record whatever you can and then you sort out what you really want on your Album and what not. She might not even like this song herself and just see how it does on the Net.
You can only really judge an artists song if you listen to his singles and the songs from an album since they are OFFICIALLY meant to be heard, not these leaks.
I mentioned the stuff about Danja because someone else posted that whoever is doing the beats from Tim needs to stop, and I was just saying that Tim’s stuff and Danja’s stuff sound NOTHING alike.
It’s…okay. This song wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t that good either. The beat’s all over the place and you could hardly hear the vocals, and from what little you could hear… Yeah. Was she singing or talking? Not sure.

Why is it that songwriters like Keri, The Dream, and Neyo can write hits for other artist that are good yet they can not write anything good for themselves.
I think that Keri can be good for urban music however she needs not to compromise her artistry with todays market. Give me something new!

They are not carbon copies of each other but Danja can “do Timmy” when he wants to. The Superwoman joint from Tre Songs is an example of Danja sounding “just like” Timmy.

Keri is the bomb. the song’s that have leaked from her upcoming album are hot to death. im definitely a fan and i cant wait. this song is ok, its not horrible but it might get skipped on the cd player.
