Seventeen year old Anthony Terrell Jr. was arrested and charged Friday with killing his mother and two younger sisters.
Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Deputy Joy Deleston, 39, and her two daughters, Micaiah, 11, and Jelani, 4, were found late Thursday at their home near Lawrenceville, Ga.
The motive for the killings is still under investigation and according to various news sources, the youngest victim, Jelani was the daughter of rapper Juvenile.
Terrell is being held without bail in the neighboring DeKalb County jail to avoid any potential conflict because his mother worked for Gwinnett County.
Jeff Beaird, who lived across the street from the family, said he often saw Terrell playing basketball or washing his mother’s patrol car in the driveway but doesn’t remember anything out of the ordinary. “It’s so shocking because you don’t expect something like this to happen,” he said.

This is a terrible thing – Prayers for the family and friends of the young mother and her daughters. And as hard as it might be to do, prayers for the son who could kill his mother and little sisters. There’s some deep darkeness there.
Things like this are happening all to often – D’evils is hard at work.
I already said a prayer for he and his family…and his wife’s family as well. This is such an unfortunate incident. I wonder what made a woman’s own seed…take not only her life…but the lives of his younger siblings as well. OMG I am so sorry to hear something like this I don’t know what makes people kill but on top of that your own flesh and blood its crazy. Its a shame he probably wanted to go to a party or something and his mom said no. She probably was a good mother who wouldn’t allow her kids to get into foolishness. Its stupid stuff these kids think their social life is the world. We really need to as black people start enforcing therapy in our schools and neighborhoods to help kids deal with the pressure of our society.

This is truly a sad story! Its so ironic that I had just heard about this earlier today from her cousin that stopped by my job here in Raleigh NC. She seemed still unaware of why or what the motive was. It touched my heart so much I had to stop after she left to tell my better half how much I love them. Its just sad man…just sad! I’m deeply saddened by this news. I pray that the young man gets some type of psychiatric evaluation before they fry his ass.
