Seventeen year old Anthony Terrell Jr. was arrested and charged Friday with killing his mother and two younger sisters.
Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Deputy Joy Deleston, 39, and her two daughters, Micaiah, 11, and Jelani, 4, were found late Thursday at their home near Lawrenceville, Ga.
The motive for the killings is still under investigation and according to various news sources, the youngest victim, Jelani was the daughter of rapper Juvenile.
Terrell is being held without bail in the neighboring DeKalb County jail to avoid any potential conflict because his mother worked for Gwinnett County.
Jeff Beaird, who lived across the street from the family, said he often saw Terrell playing basketball or washing his mother’s patrol car in the driveway but doesn’t remember anything out of the ordinary. “It’s so shocking because you don’t expect something like this to happen,” he said.
My heart goes out to Juvenile and his family….So…Juvenile had a child with a Deputy???? Seems kinda weird.
This is SO SAD. I work in Gwinnett County, and this is just horrible. HORRIBLE. I cannot even begin to explain how sad this is. I don’t know what is going on, but this is just a double blow to the Atlanta area, first the two Dekalb Officers, and now this. What is going on in the world today?

I am truly sad and awestruck by this incident. So much has happened to the original members of CMB in the past 3 years, ’til it’s a shame and makes me wonder what they could have done to deserve such. Baby’s sister died in a fatal car crash on or around Christmas in 2005, Mannie Fresh’s sister last year, and now this with Juvenile. I know some may say that tragedy strikes without a name, face, or care. But, we really must not take life for granted. We must be mindful of how we spend our time and how we treat one another. This type of stuff has leaked far beyond the “White” community- where us Blacks only thought stuff like this happened (suicide, homicide on our mothers and closest family members). We really must pray for this young brotha and hope that he has repented for what wrong he has done because nothing is worth “playing” GOD.

It is so sad that all of these young people are murdering their own family-remember last week a boy scout aged 15 killed his father mother and siblings. He came from a non dysfunctional affluent family in a good neighborhood. Obviously economic status is not the determining factor. These children are mentally ill.
Let us not forget Betty Shabazz’ fate when her 12 year old grandson burned down the house which eventually led to her death.

Poor family. It’s disheartening when tragedies like this occur. Certainly the babies are in heaven, but it is such an indescribably sad thing to hear. Juvie will be in my prayers.

I’m not sure what the justice system is like in the U.S. but here where I live, people are absolutely enraged with how lenient the judges are. Judges really need to be much tougher on criminals because the wrong message is getting sent out, especially if your even just a DAY under 18.
Unfortunately I know of a guy who purposely gets himself in trouble just to be hauled back in because he doesn’t find the life behind bars that bad.
EDIT: I shouldn’t say “purposely”. it’s more like he doesn’t care if he gets caught or not because he doesn’t mind the life behind bars.
