Even though this isn’t the first single from Keri Hilson’s debut album, In A Perfect World…, I am so excited that new material is finally leaking from the album. Keri has been working so hard on the debut, which features productions from Timbaland, Polow Da Don, Danjahandz and more. “Get It Girl” is a fun female-empowering, up-tempo track and it’s off Timbaland’s first mobile album for Verizon Wireless subscribers.
I am super excited. This isn’t my first encounter with “Get It Girl.” I was dancing super hard in the seat of the car the first time it got played for me. Be sure to check for In A Perfect World… this summer.

Jermaine Dupri and Janet Jackson were spotted leaving the CNN studios in Los Angeles after Janet’s interview with Larry King on Thursday. They look good together, I don’t care what anyone says.
In related news, Janet reveled that she would be the opening act for a Jackson Five reunion tour if they do go ahead with doing one during the Larry King taping. She also said that she has regular conference calls with her brothers and hopes the reunion will happen soon.

Kanye West, Ricardo Ticci, Dita Von Teese and Alexis Phifer pose for photos at the Givenchy dinner following the fashion show in Paris on Thursday. Kanye & Alexis have been hitting fashion shows left and right all week for Paris Fashion Week. And might I add that Kanye was looking very dapper in his blue dress socks.
Anyway, according to the rumor mill, Kanye & Alexis are already married. Word is they had the ceremony back on New Year’s. Not to sure about this one, but who knows, Kanye did say he wanted to keep his relationship business under wraps.
Meet Shwayze. They are a hip-hop/alternative group based out of Malibu. The group consists of rapper Shwayze, Cisco Adler on guitar/vocals and DJ Skeet Skeet on the ones and twos. Word is that they are Jimmy Iovine’s (President of Interscope) pet project for 2008.
So, if you are a fan of fun laid back lyrics with a rap acoustic mix of sound than you will most likely vibe with these guys. They kinda remind me of a mix of Crazy Town, Sublime and Gym Glass Heroes. I dig them.
It was announced this week that “Footprints In The Sand,” from Leona Lewis’ debut album “Spirit ” is the official single of the UK Charity Sport Relief. “Spirit,” which was released in November 2007 in the UK and slated for release April 8th in the US, is the fastest selling UK debut album of all time.
