   Hair 411

   Oh y’all my hair is totally natural now but I wore braids for a damn long time to allow the transition from permed to natural w/o everyone seeing some short ass hair. But I will tell you my natural hair is strong and down my back, I only press it with heat to achieve the straight look I want some times and then wash it to go back to the fro. The only downside is that when you want to maintain the straight look, you have to avoid water ( when washing your face, rain) like the plague (like I am a damn gremlin). But my hair is extremely healthy and I feel free from all those evil chemicals that had destroyed my hair in the past.

    Tyra looks great as usual & Yaya. But I looove Essence’s Angela BM short haircut -it looks beautiful. As a natural curly-top I would love to see more celebration of non-weave-wearing Black women. PS. I think Halle is looking blooming marvevllous and those curls are the biz.
