On Super Tuesday, February 5, 24 states (plus American Samoa) held either caucuses or primary elections with 1,681 delegates at stake for the Democrats and 1,020 for the Republicans.
Some results are still being analyzed (hence the delay in my posting), but all of the remaining presidential candidates are winners…well, maybe all except Rep. Ron Paul. Despite his cult-like following, he won not a single state and garnered only ten GOP delegates in the Super Tuesday event. He’s won fourteen since the campaign began and campaign spokesman, Jesse Benton, said Paul has no plans to drop out just yet.
The party’s frontrunner, John McCain, proved his place by winning the most states of any Republican (9), although none of them were southern states. Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee trailed with six and four, respectively.
For the Democrats, the historic battle between Sens. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama continues. With results still coming in, Obama’s campaign says the senator finished with fourteen more delegates than Clinton; her campaign says the candidates finished within five or six delegates of each other. Either way, Super Tuesday for the Democrats, at least, is essentially a draw.
Quick question: where the hell is Mike Gravel?

@110
There were some harsh words in the beginning of the posts and I was speaking towards that. As long as we respect and discuss the complexities of cultural differences in the right way its cool, because I hate double standards.
Just a note for some of the posters saying that Asians are not supporting Obama; his half sister is Indonesian and white, and is married to a Chinese-Canadian. They are both campaigning for him. Obama is getting support from many Asians and Pacific Islanders like Jennifer Fang who dedicates her website to Asian American issues and is an Obama campaigner. The Hon. Norm Mineta, who was a Cabinet member for both the Clinton and the second Bush administration, is endorsing Obama. If you visit Jenny’s (http://www.reappropriate.com/) site you will find tons of info on Asians supporting Obama. People forget that Obama is cosmopolitan; he was born in Hawaii, and lived in Indonesian for 4 years. He is very much aware of the issues that are of concern to Asian Americans. So please believe that Asians are backing Obama big time!
I hate to tell you this Latane but SuperDelegates aren’t committed until the Convention so those numbers are changing as recently some decommitted from Clinton to Obama…plus the next SEVEN states coming up are Obama leans.
For the person that said 18-21′s don’t care, its true to a certain point, i’m 20 and i voted and when i went back to school no one in my class voted, they kept saying oh yeah i should of did that, i should of, or looking at me stupidly like voting? ew, butttt @!!!! there are alot of 18-21′s voting, you should watch CNN to see the colleges out there supporting, most of the youth supports Obama…but I’m going to say this and I mean it, I do not trust Hillary just as I did not trust Bush, and I do not believe Hilary will follow through with her plans, and if she becomes president, I promise you if she does not make things better I will become a college activist and my mission will be to ask her (petitions?? emails?? whatever means I can find) why she isnt doing this, why is her ideas not helping the quality of life, because if you ignore these things if you dont stand up and speak you might as well not complain. Like the Dixie Chicks they got sooooo much hatred for speaking on how they feel about Bush and look at America now, they basically are saying the same thing the Dixie Chicks been saying. So I voted for Obama, I did my part, everyone I know or am friends with white black whatever are pushing for Obama if he doesnt win, Hillary better beware because all eyes will be on her.
In order to force people of all races to come together, black people that love this system must do what they’ve always done, embrace lies and propagate them. This is why you see these negroes that come on here and say, “Stop with the racist rants!!!”, lmao. When I watch the televised news, the newscasters not only break down the amount of votes for each candidate, they go into a 5 minute long spiel pertaining to what percentage of each RACE voted for each candidate and then they proceed to hypothesize on why each RACE preferred who they preferred. One must ask oneself why they find RACE to be a factor if RACE is irrelevant according to the majority of bamboozled black people. No black person that earnestly studies this society and the depths of the problems that our people have would be idiotic enough to attempt to eliminate race as a factor in America. You have to be a complete buffoon. This leads me to believe that the black people that choose to separate race from this political process are hoping that by Obama being a potential catalyst for “change” and “unity”, he will therefore lead black people into unification with “all races” (hopefully whites) that will make all of our issues disappear. That is the “promised land”: a society of optimal confusion where people and races that are diametrically opposed are forced to hold hands because everyone must “accept each other”. It’s nonsense. To do that, you must reject everything that you are. This is why these “open-minded” black people usually don’t know about their own people’s history or care about the issues that affect their own people.
As far as the tension between blacks and hispanics, that’s everywhere and that has been attested to by HONEST blacks and hispanics. I’m born and raised in the Bronx and although we’re the same people and we live amongst each other, you would have to be a fool to act like there aren’t problems between the two demographics. The gangs in high school are divided along racial lines between blacks and hispanics. The reason why these issues persist is because people will not tackle them. They hide behind them with this “you’re being ignorant” bullshit. It’s the cowards way out. This is not even going into some of the things I’ve heard regarding the MS-13 and these different hispanic gangs whose initiations involve murdering black people i.e. the murders in Newark, NJ.
@92….
Thanks TT!!!!
I’m ready for michelle to walk in the oval office with all her cleaning supplies and disinfect that bitch. And Obama gone be walking around in his private quarters at night with his doorag on (preserve the sexy) while michelle got her body wrap scarfed up…….LOL
@115 Have Not Thought of a New User Name
Are you saying that because you know for sure that a lot of Latinos voted for Hilary because they were democratic and didn’t want to vote for Barack because he was black, that this is the current state of Latinos’ thinking. And that a majority of latinos are that narrow minded?
I beg to differ. I do not think you have a monopoly on how ALL Latinos in californica think! or even the majority. Granted there are blacks whites women and men who will vote with people who they “identify with” rather than the issues. But I CHOOSE to believe that the majority of Americans are voting on issues, and not divisive elements such as race or gender.
because if that was the case how ignorant would it be to elect Hilary based on race and name recognition alone, is she still not what many Latinos call a Gringo or Gringa. Whatever! She is still a white woman, do the Latinos who are prejudiced against blacks not realise we are both fighting the same colonial thoughts that enslaved demoralized and raped both our cultures. I am not saying Hilary is part of this establishment but….. NOT ALL WHITE OR BLACK OR LATINO people have the same views. America allows for that especially in our peer group and demographic of 18 – 35. For the most part we no longer judge based on the colour of skin, but the integrity and words of the individual. But then again, in Cali it may be different I have only been there once…
@ 91 with all due respect, there’s no way on this earth you can say that with a straight face. It really ain’t that deep but quit lying to yourself.
If you want to be politically politically correct you can go on the idea of race is a false concept, if you want to get into Anthropology and the racism that was basically created by Biological Anthropologists we can. We can go on the fact that we are all humans and our skin and facial appearances and hair texture do not define us, but yet that is how people define us. And then once people define us, oh you must be black, you must be mexican, they then stereotype us on the actions of some and say all black people are like this all mexican people are like that, if you really want to know where racism comes from, why white people refer to black people as monkeys you have to go all the way back to the idea of evolution and darwinism, if you want to take it there. Honestly if more poeple in this world were educated to understand where most racism started then maybe it could end, but it will never be that way because one thing, people don’t read they don’t want to read or they don’t want to learn they don’t care…then as generations go on and on these stereotypes that we judge groups of people by continue until the death of a whole society and basically thats what its going to come down too. Yes black people do some ignorant shit, but guess what so do latinos, so do mexicans, so do asians (oriental to indian to etc), so do white people, basically the generations that exist today are brainwashed by the past and stereotypes and ofcourse how we act and carry ourselves today will add to those stereotypes and honestly things wont change esp if people dont give a damn and dont want to change.
i’m black, and i love latinos, i love mexicans, i love asians, i love people of middle eastern decent, why would i hate a culture KNOWING!!!! KNOWING!! what my own culture and what my own people have been through??? But it will never change because people don’t want things to change, so if Hillary wins that would be normal or even if McCain wins that will be normal, things will not change cause people are scared of change….
If any black person wants to know why alot of white people call us monkeys, its beause of Biological Anthropology and the idea that people evolved from apes chimps (hominids) and that africans did not evolve as much as european people did, therefore africans are less intelligent like a chimp ape orangutan etc and because in the early times africans didnt have a written language they must not be as intelligent, research the Hottentot Venus and thing about how they judge Serena and Venus Wiliams based on their body types…..there was a political caricature of Obama on CNNpolitics.com that depicted him as a monkey….so just think about it….how can you trust people who still think a negative way about you, how do you trust them to really give a shit about your future and your children’s future?
Honestly if Obama wins he could change the negative view of Black People, he can do great things for the countries and help his own at the same time, he can give more black little boys hopes that life is not just going to shit on them, so they gotta stay in the streets to get it cause it will never be given to them, so this Presidential Race is very important, Clinton could never help minorities as much as she claims, Think about it Oprah had a video out there with her supporters and there were supporters who had signs that said Women for Obama, Latinos for Obama, this could be a great thing to YES UNITE PEOPLE, and what if Obama won, then a hispanic or a mexican or an asian might say IF OBAMA CAN BE PRESIDENT SO CAN I, but to be real, think about it Do you think those that are in charge of the government now would like the idea of a multicultural presidents??? that would mean that the term White America would start to fade and White people would not be as in control of the USA as they are, which that is what we need, we need more diverse leaders to run this country, because this country is made up of IMMIGRANTS, every cultural group except NATIVE AMERICANS has a history of MIGRATION Europeans Africans Mexicans Hispanics Asians Indian etc etc etc…..so why not have a diverse President why not have diverse Presidential History…
I guarantee it will not happen if people don’t allow it.
I’m form Connecticut and took the opportunity to vote and alot of people I know decided to skip the primary because they felt that it was not important but let me say this it is and every election whether its for mayor or president I vote,,and when I think about the civil rights leaders who paved they way so we can vote. And last but not least I’m glad OBAMA won our state!!!
why do ASIAN’S and LATINOS DISS-TRUST OBAMA?
they COOL to ourTRAITS/ FACE but HATE our RACE?
Go Obama!!..
J….gravel dropped out a long time ago!
i was up all nite watching to see who would win…..it was like a reality show…..

I know this is wrong what Im about to say….I know it is wrong but i have to express my opinion. I dont understand the mexicans in this country they the ones who act like they own the country expecting us to start speaking spanish….GTFO of here i wish we could ship 75% of them back. They come over here jumpin f-ing rivers and crossing canyons and expect the black people to be under them…they can go to hell with that notion. But any i have nothing aganist the mexicans or whatever but they think they own everything and just because they will pick up poop, clean up houses and do slave work that we did 400 years ago dont mean we are lazy it just mean that we want better for ourselves and we refuse to be set back to where we were 400 years ago.
************************************************************

#4: I’m still getting conflicting reports/results on delegate counts. I’ll definitely update you all on final counts when I get something conclusive.
#7: Mike Gravel is a former senator from Alaska and contrary to popular belief (and MSNBC), he is still in the presidential race.
#15: I’ll give an overview of delegates vs. superdelegates in an upcoming entry.
#24: I’ll include that in the delegates entry.
#40: Not yet…but I’m working on it.
#43: See my responses to 15 & 24.
#133: See my response to #7.

@81 Go to the back of the bus!! Barack Obama 2008!! Vote! Vote Vote!
@ 81 Go to the back of the bus!! Barack Obama 2008!! Vote! Vote!! Vote!
Hillary doesnt need high profile endorsements because she is already a household name! EHICH SHOULD MAKE SOMETHING GO OFF IN YOUR HEAD THAT SAYS DAMN “WHY IS AMERICA LETTING 2 FAMILIES CONTROL US” . Are the Bush’s and Clintons the new royal families. It is time for change and not change by passing the torch to Hilary ..Whats next? Georges brother runs for president, then Chelsea, then Jenna Bush. I mean its time for a changing of the guard.
Hillary is playing the race card “her issues are just that” Her Issues – NOT OURS!
AND THESE LATINOS KILL ME VOTING FOR HILLARY. SHE TRIED TO ALREADY CREATE TENSION AMONG US SAYING THE IMMIGRANTS ARE TAKEN BLACK PEOPLE JOBS. AS IF WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE WORKING MENIAL LABOR. SHE DOESNT WANT IMMIGRANTS HERE YET THEY ARE INTIMIDATED BY A BLACK MAN. ALL THAT LATINO/BLACK TENSION WAS PROBABLY CREATED JUST FOR THIS KIND OF STUFF. IT IS SUCH A BIGGER PICTURE. PEOPLE NEED TO WAKE UP
Four Reasons for OBAMA!
#1: Hillary blindly jumped on the bandwaggon campaign of HATE when she voted to invade a country unprovoked! Obviously she view people of color less when she can give the order to bomb a country full of women and children that have NOTHING to do with the beef America has with Al Queda.
#2: She was an advocate for universal social health care until she was bought off by medical aid providers. Now she thinks that it’s best if we pay for healthcare. That says a lot for her character.
#3: In the last debate, she came up with a fictional story about how she ran into some Black contractor in the South and how he was upset with Mexican Immigrants taking all of his work. Why must she try to pit Latinos against Blacks in an attempt to gain Latino voters? Blacks have never BLAMED Mexicans for our socioeconomic state in America! They are in the same boat that we are. That devisive behavior does not and will not ever benefit minorities in this country.
#4: Why can’t we just support the brotha because he is BLACK!?!? For hunderds of years, we have been alienated from society simply for being Black. Why can’t we just this ONE time come together and support him SIMPLY for being Black. I mean come on! He’s not a sell-out like Larry Elder, Ward Connerly or Clarence Thomas! Can’t we just give the brotha the benefit of the doubt? The country wont be WORSE off with him in office. If he wins, then maybe the next generation of Americans could POSSIBLY not look at EVERY single Black man as a criminal. Do it for the children AT LEAST!
OBAMA IN 08!
I for one…am very APPALUAD AND DISAPPTIONED by what is being said in this forum tonight. WE as black people need to start learning that it is now time to stop waiting for a handout. We can no longer afford to keep blaming the “White Man” and “Hispanics” for our continuing failures in the black community. It is time black people do for themselves! HOW can you say that Hispanics are being racist by not voting for a black man when black people are doing it themselves running out in droves to vote for this man because of his skin color?, half of you do not even know what issues he’s even running for. We know almost “nothing” about the issues his stands for except for the slogan of change….CHANGE TO WHAT! I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO KNOW…please give me an outline, a diagram or something, because I would like to know what I am going to be making a decision based upon.
What is he going to do about health care?? so far from what I’ve heard his plan for that is highly flawed because it leaves 15 million Americans w/o healthcare coverage, what is he going to do about student loans for new college graduates…the average college student leaves school with over $20,000 worth of student loan debt. With a recession looming and job growth getting slower, how am I going to be able to pay that back? What about all the young black men and women who are being locked up in prisons everyday at higher numbers. These are questions I need answers to, and have so far not gotten answers from Senator Barrack Obama? Yes I want to believe in HOPE, CHANGE AND A PROMISELAND, however I don’t need a Sunday Church Sermon, I need facts, an itinerary, and a plan of what you are going to be doing if you get in the white house. Please BLACK PEOPLE, I urge you to vote based off of the ISSUES and not RACE alone…we cannot afford to wait and hope that OBAMA gives us hand outs if he makes it to the white house in 2009, cause believe me he is going to owe a lot of white people for getting him there also!
OBAMA 08
PEOPLE WAKE UP! DO YOU NOT GET IT ? ARE WE GOING TO LET TH EBUSH AND CLINTON FAMILIES CONTROL OUR COUNTRY FOREVER? ISJEB GONNA RUN FOR PRESIDENT NEXT..THEN WILL THEY PASS THE TORCH TO CHELSEA…THEN BACK TO JENNA BUSH ? I MEAN CANT YOU SEE WHAT IS GOING ON? THEY ARENT THE ROYAL FAMILIES…IS THIS A DYNASTY? TIME FOR CHANGING OF THE GUARD. NO MORE CONTROL…HILLARY LOOKS GOOD BECAUSE THE CLINTONS TRY TO BE THE “LESSER OF TWO EVILS” AND THAT IS WHAT THEY ARE THE LESSER !!!
NO MORE CLINTON AND BUSH RULE! IT HAS TO STOP HERE! HILLARY IS A PUPPET WITH HER OWN AGENDAS CONSTANTLY PLAYING THE RACE CARD..YET SHE IS RIDING ON BILLS COATTAIL! AND BILL CLINTON WASNT EVEN EXPOSED FOR SOME OF WHAT HE DIDNT OR DIDNT DO ( TAKE RWANDA AS AN EXAMPLE)
THESE FAMILIES NEED TO SIT DOWN …ITS TIME FOR NEW CONTROL! AND NOT A BUSH OR A F’ING CLINTON!
PEOPLE KEEP SAYING ITS ABOUT ISSUES…..POLITICIANS SWITCH IT UP WHEN THEY GET IN OFFICE AND HILARY HAS SWITCHED IT UP MANY TIMES WHEN THE MONEYS RIGHT! SHE IS TELLING YOU WHAT SHE WANT US TO HEAR ..JUST LIKE BUSH SR, JUST LIKE HER HUBBY, JUST LIKE BUSH JR, JUST LIKE—OH ARE WE GONNA VOTE ANOTHER CLINTON? DO WE NOT SEE A PATTERN! WAKE UP PEOPLE!
THESE PEOPLE ARE SUPERDELEGATES AND CAN AFFECT THE TURNOUT…MAKE THEM VOTE OBAMA! THERE ASSES WILL BE ON THE LINE IF THEY ENDORSE A CLINTON..ITS SHOWS THEY ARE PART OF THE BUSH/CLINTON PLAN!
Maxine Waters in California (LA) 202) 225-2201
Shelia Jackson Lee Office in Houston,Texas 202-225-3816
Charles Rangel who represents Harlem, NY(202) 225-4365
Obama may have ‘lost’ CA but he gets a percentage of delegates based on the amount of votes he got. He actually won in the SF Bay area where I live! One thing Obama has done well is get people interested in participating who weren’t. Of course with the way the Bush 2nd term has disappointed everyone – even the conservatives- people are definately ready for a change. But it’s up to us to get these politicians to make changes. We need a new Fannie Lou Hamer – several in fact!
I wish the candidates would talk about the upswing of violence against Black women from the gang rape at Dunbar Village housing project in FL to the recent execution of shoppers and employees at the Lane Bryant store in IL. Things are just out of control! I also don’t see how either Clinton’s or Obama’s healthcare plans will really work with the insurance companies still trying to control it. Clinton’s tax credit is only good if you actually have the cash to pay upfront and can wait a year or so to file and get the money back. That won’t work for me. When I left my job and was no longer getting insurance paid by my employer I found out my COBRA payments cost $534/month for just myself! I had excellent insurance that covered everything from OB visits to Chiropractic but $534 + $15 co-payments just would not work. [That's half my rent]! Especially when you factor in the cost of a typical hospital stay [$8000/day]. I had to have surgery and when I saw the itemized bill I nearly fell out my chair even though it was covered. $40 for every pill they gave me [34 pills] – I could have had my mom go to a pharmacy and fill an entire RX for less than that! $700 for the sheets on the bed THAT they wash and REUSE! I mean come on! THIS is why healthcare costs are out of control – and I agree with Michael Moore that insurance companies should not be making a profit from people getting sick and denying coverage. So Obama’s plan for cost-cutting sounds good….but still the system is flawed. Anyway, I’m looking forward to the next round of voting!!!!
Oh…and I’ve been doing some research on Hillary since she started touting her 35 years of experience. She was originally a Republican and supported Barry Goldwater who was opposed to Civil Rights – as really most the white politicians were. [I was really surprised and wonder why no one has brought this up]. The Southern Democrats – some who later switched to the Republican party – fought it tooth and nail. When LBJ was running he didn’t want to press the issue so he’d get their votes. Fanny Lou Hamer went to the 1968 Democratic Nat’l convention and forced the issue in public. That’s how Civil Rights and Voting Rights got passed. It’s really up to us to help things change!!
If the delegate numbers are too close the super delegates would decide the nominee. So I know it’s been posted here by others but it’s time to start making calls and writing letters to your representatives about supporting your choice – whomever that may be. I personally don’t want to feel I’ve been shafted with a Supreme Court type coronation ala Gore and Bush 2000. So make sure you VOTE!!!
Considering Obama only announced his candidacy one year ago his campaign has been nothing short of spectacular!! The Clintons have had 20 years + to build their coalition. I personally weighed many options before choosing a candidate and I’m satisfied with my choice.
@ 96 ANTI-IMPERIALIST
“I’m sorry that’s just defeatist. I also think this form of docility is a major part of the reason why blacks don’t get the respect they deserve in this country. There are coon black shows and there are coon Asian shows. Don’t they have some Asian bisexual chick doing the same on VH1? Has anyone castigated her race as a result? Have you seen that Chappelle-wannabe moron Carlos Mencia on TV? Let me tell you one thing, this racism (as the idealogical social norm) is embedded in these people. They aspire to come here and assimilate, and for some reason suffer from a moral ineptitude to separate the good from the bad. Some other person alluded to a certain indoctrination, and that’s exactly what I meant by divide and conquer. If you decide to hate an excellent human being like Barrack because of a show you saw on TV, then it has nothing to do with anyone but yourself. How can you look at a Harvard Law grad who’s the son of a Harvard PhD, and still think “lazy?” And it’s the fault of blacks? lol.”
I still stand by it. If you want to call it defeatist then that’s YOUR opinion. And I suggest you read my past posts CAREFULLY. Who cares about ONE Asian stereotype when you’re looking at a whole TV station that’s bent on portraying us in a negative light?! And I didn’t make a blanket statement as you’re implying. And I did not say that it’s the fault of blacks. Those are your words. If you cannot see the forest for the trees, or see the broader picture, then perhaps that’s on you, lol. And as for them assimilating our culture, I believe I touched on that one first as well.
And for the record, I AGREE with some of the things you’re saying. If you took the time to COMPREHEND before you post, perhaps you can see that.
@91 LI
Thank you so much for putting into words what I miserably failed to articulate.
It is not racist to acknowledge the differences in the races and cultures. I, for, one did not call any race out of their name, suggest they should go back where they came from, etc.
Furthermore, everybody has the right to state their opinions on race based on THEIR OWN experiences, period. If you disagree, fine.
I agree with Vegas*Vixen, I really liked Mike Gravel’s stance too. I thought he dropped out of the race, or else I would have wrote his name in on my ballot.
amen to 142 & 144
Alright, this is getting rediculous.
I do agree that black people do patronize other people of color too much and support them too much. But, mind you. there are a LOT of racist black people who help to fuel opposition and feelings of mistrust by other ethnic minorities. Black people stay calling folks “chinks” “cooleys” “gook” “wetbacks”, etc. Hell! The responses in this thread alone proves my point. So, can you really blame the hispanics for not being on our side? And, I’m not even going to go into the prejudice between AAs and non-american black ethnic groups. Keep It Real: We are some racist people and hypocrites at times.
You cannot fight racism with racism. If you want other minorities on your side, then set the example by doling out the olive branch. The best way to fight indignation is by taking the higher ground and setting an example for humanity. Not too long ago, there was unity between the asians and blacks; in many different countries, asians and black are romantically linked…yet we harbour disdain for one another here. Same story with latinos.
I think that the same thing that happened between the Bush campaign and the latino voters: misinformation. Bush lied to alot of people about immigration. Since many couldn’t understand the lack of power he had in such matters, they voted for him. But, to sit here and lump all latinos into one boat while ignoring our own hatred is what keeps getting black people caught up.

You would have to live here to understand. As a matter of fact just visit and you’ll see what I’m talking about. I was raised in (Berkeley, CA) and that is one of the most culturaly diverse cities in the country. Here all the Blacks, Mexicans, Asians, People from the Middle East get along. But for some reason outside Berkeley and maybe San Francisco they can’t get along. I love everybody and at the end of the day we still second class citizens compared to white people.
“The fact of the matter is that Obama in particular, and this whole democratic campaign in general, has led to and brought forth more division than it has brought people together. In actuality, it is really only highlighting the divisions that were always there.”
I agree with Judah, he’s on point with that, and it’s about time that these issues start coming out now in order to move forward in this country.
@ #42 NOTMORECLINTONS
Thank you!! Thank you,! Thank You!
I loved reading everyone’s comments. Debate is always a good thing as long as it is done in a positive manner. I thought I would put in my two cents.
First, I am a Latina who lives in Southern Cali, 10 minutes from the Mexican border. HOWEVER, I went to Wiley College (The Great Debaters) which is an HBCU in rural Texas. I vorted for Obama because I believe in him. I pray that he becomes President, one reason being so that he can help change the minds of so many ignorant people. My heart broke when the Hispanic community did not overwhelmingly support Obama. My heart broke because I knew that they “fell” for the lies. I educated myself and found that Obama supports the issues that Hispanics face FAR more than Hilary. However, what many must understand is that maybe it is not racism that plagues the members of my ethnicity. Personally, I think it is the sad belief in my culture that Caucasians are the Superior race. We are often directly and indirectly taught that we must be like them. When immigrants come into this nation they picture a white person leading. It’s Sad. However, I believe that Obama has the power to change the minds of so many people. I voted for him on Super Tuesday and I will vote for him again in November when he is the official Democratic Nominee!
I had the chance to see senator Obama yesterday here in new orleans and it was filled to capacity. There were still 500+ people waiting outside that couldn’t get in. All I know is senator Obama is a breath of fresh air! There is No difference between clinton and every other person who has been president except she lacks a member! senator Obama has my vote tomorrow!
@ one love thank you i agree so much…
Did anyone catch the CNN piece today on Asian Americans? They were polling Asian communities from California to Washington State, and some actually said (On Camera!) that they would rather vote for Hilary over Obama because she’s white.
Wow.
