So, here is the roundup on Robert…Last week, George Daniels – husband of R. Kelly’s former publicist Regina Daniels – outed R. Kelly and his inappropriate relationship with their daughter. This answered question about why R. Kelly’s once longtime colleague suddenly resigned on him back in November.
Daniels told local Los Angeles radio station KJLH that R. Kelly took advantage of his then 21 yr. old daughter Maxine Daniels, who the singer has known since she was a child. LISTEN TO THE INTERVIEW HERE.
R. Kelly has since then respond to the accusations with a statement to TMZ.com saying:
It’s hard to take seriously the moral outrage expressed by George and Regina Daniels over R. Kelly’s relationship with Mr. Daniels’ adult daughter, Maxine. The fact is that they had no problem with the relationship — indeed, they encouraged it — while Ms. Daniels was on Mr. Kelly’s payroll.
It was Regina Daniels, then working as a publicist for Mr. Kelly, who persuaded him to attend her step-daughter’s 21st birthday party. And it was Regina Daniels who shortly thereafter gave her step-daughter Mr. Kelly’s private phone number, with the admonition: ‘Don’t tell your father.’ It was only after Ms. Daniels resigned her position to avoid being fired for incompetence that her stepdaughter’s relationship suddenly became an issue for her and her husband.”
In the meantime, R. Kelly goes to trial on May 6th…
TYRA IN E.W PLUS RUMORS ON HER SHOW

In the midst of her Top Model promotion are these latest set of rumors from angry fans saying that The Tyra Show treats guests unfairly. After an article in Gossip paper The National Enquirer, the internet has been buzzing about Tyra’s supposed lack of respect for her guests and fans:
Despite all the female empowerment Tyra preaches, there are other guests who also felt hurt and betrayed after an appearance on her daytime talk show, one of whom was a cancer victim who was forced to sign a non-disclosure agreement when she complained to staff.
39 year-old single mother of two, Jodi Hughes, has stage 4 cervical cancer and Lupus. She was on Tyra’s show for a scheduled makeover set up by her children. Her kids were not allowed in the studio when she was getting the makeover, and were left to sit on the curb for hours without ever being fed or checked up on. Her ten year-old boy is even legally blind. Hugh’s makeover was just a new dress, makeup and very painful hair weave that left her with severe complications. She was told exactly what to say about how Tyra made her feel like a woman again, but all she felt was tired and used. And speaking of reality shows, Deelishis from Flavor Of Love 2 is still making rounds and she’s showing off her new and unidentified handsome man. The former lover of Flav is on the March 2008 cover of S2S magazine.
Deelishis addresses rumors on Flav and her relationship with Busta Rhymes, recently stating on her myspace blog:
In the past week I have recieved an influx of questions concerning my relationship with Busta Rhymes. Questions like, “are we friends”, “are we more than friends”, “is he my baby’s daddy”, “am I caught up in a love triangle with he and his fiance”…geesh!!! That was a mouth full, but to answer your questions…. Yes he and I are friends, JUST FRIENDS, great friends to be exact. We have been for a little while now, and respectfully we will continue to be. I have never been a woman with a desire to covet what was not rightfully mine. I’d never be caught up in a love triangle, and I’d never disrespect anyone else’s relationship. I don’t understand why black people are so quick to brush off what R. Kelly has done. Let’s all be honest and say it like it is; R. Kelly is a PEDOPHILE, a SEXUAL PREDATOR!
I’m tired of hearing people say that they don’t care. What he has done is rampant in the black community and for some reason people are not willing to protect black girls and boys from child molesters and people trying to take advantage of them. Do we not value our children? Why do we participate in their victimization? I don’t understand why black people are so quick to brush this issue aside. I highly doubt that the relationship started when she was 21. Look at R. Kelly’s history of victimization, this man probably took advantage of her at a younger age (he likes young girls). I think her parents know that she was younger when this happened and in their own sick way maybe trying to protect him and lie about how old she was. It’s not that uncommon to see parents and the community supporting the offender.
Parents need to protect their children and stop selling them out for money! This is ridiculous! Look at the black community; why are young girls and boys so quick to be grown up and be sexual? Why are parents not reporting these so called older men who are harassing their young daughters? Why is the black community so quick to support pedophiles and pretend that they don’t exist in the community? Why do black people insist on not seeing black girls (teenage ones) as children? Just because some girls have the body of a grown women doesn’t mean they have the mental capacity of one! White men aren’t the only pedophiles out there! Clear your mind of the stereotypical pedophile; it may just be your next door neighbor and you’re too blind to see it!
This makes me sick and extremely sad! R. Kelly needs to be in JAIL, and people need to stop supporting him! This makes me think back to a previous poster’s comments on sexism, and how quick society is to accept it. This is just a symptom of sexism, and one of the many cancers in the black community.

Things just get worse R. Kelly. If my sources are correct, George Daniels has been some what of a corner man for R. While I don’t condone anyone having a physical relationship with a child. I don’t see why George Daniels would even complain about Kells having an attraction or a relationship with his daughter who WAS of age at the time. It is no different than him. Yes he is married, but he did not act like it when he was trying to push up on me in a club a few years ago. He was telling me who he was and using R. Kelly to try to impress me. I was and still am well under Mr. Daniels in age, so I don’t see what the difference is. Everyone is so shocked about Kells liking younger women, but as you can see, there are several “old men” out there with young women (i.e. Ron Isley, The guy from Earth Wind and Fire, and George Daniels if I would have let him).
There was a past guest that was on the show and she left a message on you tube about tyra, saying she is rude, she doesnt speak to you, when the camera is off she is very cold…but as soon as the camera is back on, she was hugging everyone and being all jolly and happy like we see when the camera is on…..

I don’t understand why George and Regina Daniels are standing on ceremony now. Weren’t they still representing and associating with R. Kelly when the story first broke about him and his love for underage girls? Wasn’t Regina still representing him when he “married” Aaliyah. Why is it ok for him to take advantage of any other underage girls but not there daughter? How dare they. R. Kelly is a predator. That’s what they do, PREY. At least their 21 y/o adult daughter had the right to decide for herself if she wanted to be involved with this man. Not to mention, she was legal and an adult. I don’t think a 15, 16, 17…year old has the same mental capacity to make a decision of that magnitude. They know the reputation that is attached to, and followed and follow R. Kelly.
