I guess MTV has officially ended their “boycott” of Janet Jackson now, you know because of that Superbowl thing. I’ve seen her “Feedback” video in rotation on the channel and now she has a bunch of promo videos airing on the station. WHOOPI GETS EMOTIONAL ON THE VIEW
Whoopi Goldberg got emotional on ‘The View’ this morning after she learned that the Oscars snubbed her in their ‘best host’ montage. The actress/comedian hosted the event numerous times and even won an award back in ’90 for her role in the movie Ghost. A lot of people don’t know that she was the 2nd black woman EVER to win an Oscar too. Talk about a diss and during Black History Month too. Damn shame!

1. WHY on earth every time Janet makes a public appearance now she might as well be wearing a burkha (sp)? What is going on with covering her up from ankles to scalp. 2. Why aren’t the videos in the can already ? “Feedback” dropped in December and we didn’t get the delightful and poorly lit video until February. Since we know she wasn’t appearing anywhere why such a long wait for the videos? A September tour? They sure are banking that folks will still care by then. They should have had these stacked and ready to go so she could be out there getting her promotion grind on. Where IS the promotion?

The more I listen to the cd the more I wonder why other songs were not chosen as singles? “Rock With U” will do great in Europe but here, they need to come with faster with a video for “Luv” if that’s going to be the choice for the states. This is like they keep making the worst single choices and its been going ON since Damita Jo. Janet if this is your doing, STOP IT! Just serve and give much and let the behind the scenes people handle your career. Your new motto is “watch me serve”. Learn it, live it, LOVE IT!

interludes are so played, dated, tired, over and you really need to stop putting so much effort into them. That joint playing in the background of “Bathroom Break” is one of the hottest things on the cd, but no where on it. Tragique!

Janet, did we the public let you down? Everything you have turned out here recently just looks like you don’t care anymore. The same level of energy isn’t there and the GMA performance looked like you were “marking” it. It wasn’t Britney VMA’s phoned in but it did have elements of “for webcam only” all over it. Shame on you. You USED TO BE the BADDEST entertainer on THE PLANET. Where did THAT Janet go? Can you please tell HER to BUHRING IT AGAIN????!!!! And I love Laren Hill and Tanya Blunts scene in the movie. Girl I can’t hold a note but I be trying. Whoopi was GREAT in both those movies. Whoopi you rock with your bad self!
