The best I can come up with is that she was tryin to give you late 80’s-early 90’s…I think… If that’s the case, then maybe the public will be a little forgiving. I noticed when I watched this on the ‘Tube that the title card says this is Addictive: Vol. 1, so perhaps with the release of other singles (dare I call them singles?) we’ll be able to see exactly what is it she’s going for.

Probably the most peculiar thing about the video–unless I missed it–was that she didn’t even DANCE WELL! Now, if her goal is to hearken back to that era, then surely as a professional dancer she knows that’s when they used to go FOR it, even more than we do now!
