Obama and Hillary said that they were going to keep the war going & now hillary is saying that she is going to end the war because Americans ”are tired of the war”. all i will say is election day will show the direction that Americans are headed.

Right on #5 you are so so right we as ppl need to continue to look at the issues that are important . This Nation was built on Godly values and Now everyone wants to be liberal enough to throw all that out. We need those values for change to be steadily in front of us.

@ #78 GET A CLUE+
Please help me understand… Was it the same “Godly Values” that sanctioned your enslavement for damn near four centuries? What this country is really about - if you took the time to read - is not shoving your personal codes & beliefs down someone else’s throat.

@ 79 all of our founding fathers were Christians and this country was build on beliefs in God & God’s word and all of the Federal buildings and monuments in Washignton D.C. have Biblical verses on them. So with all do respect you need to do your research. Number 78 was not shoving their beliefs down your throat they were agreeing with number 5 and no one told you to read their comment. & do not put Godly value in quotes like it’s God’s faught for whats going on, it is the people so do not get the two mixed up. So not only was your comment offensive but it was uncalled for.

@ 80 GO RUNNING:
You have managed to say a whole lot without really saying anything. I asked #78 a simple question. Do you also believe you were rightfully enslaved? Let me preface by saying that unlike you, I do not acknowledge any of these men as a “Founding Father.” If you want to ascribe to a legacy that dehumanized you, by my guest. But don’t try to force others to share your perspective.
Now that I have gotten that out of the way, you are wrong. George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson , Benjamin Franklin, and Thomas Paine (especially) were all anti-clerical and highly opposed to organized religion. Secondly, United States citizenry is bound by the constitution, not some murals on public buildings. I suggest you do some critical reading.
Finally, there is no parallel between comment 78 and comment 5. Unless you’re trying to suggest that the Clintons are more spiritual than Obama, which would just be idiotic. I put “Godly Values” in quote because I was indeed quoting someone. If you’re going to attack me, make a rational assessment. I find zealots like you highly irritating. If you want to persuade someone, try making an intelligent argument for once. Fucking judgmental creep.

OBAMA IS OFFICIAL!!!!…HATERS, PLEAZE FALL BACK!
love this comment lmao
but yeah the video was nice and even if natasha is british its nice that she participated, our president has to deal with other countries so in one way or another it affects pretty much the whole world even if its not directly to her as an individual
and ppl need to stop assuming ppl are voting for Obama because of his blackness just because they happen to be voting for someone else like they are the only ones into politics

Yes, we can.
We have all waited for a leader who could unite us. He has arrived. Now it is up to us. We need to get behind him and support him.
If we don’t, we will get the age old divisive politics… and that includes Hillary.
Obama’s strong record and lifetime achievements show that he not only talks a great vision, but he acts on it as well.
Please give of your time, support, and, yes, donations if possible. however, if you do nothing else, talk to others. We need to do our part.
Yes, we can.

#6 chrissy…girl, what u smokin?? i’m gonna hope u were just kiddin
ok folks….this video is some bullshit…when the fuck will celebrities learn that they’re endorsements only discourage votes??? (save Oprah and a few others).
the dem party is seen as “too hollywood”….these days, “hollywood” represents a lot of things that the average american (who is on some farm in the middle of nowhere ) does not agree with (e.g. homosexuality).
i’m sure their intentions are good but they really need to educate themselves about the dynamics of politics and how they are actually sabotaging the candidate they support
ps: if the obama camp asked brad pitt to not endorse him, why would they need endorsements from will.i.am….and tatyana ali?? LOLOL

This is a BLACK blog, why do people keep talking about bias? This blog is created and targeted to BLACK people and what’s important to them. The whole media market is filled with white people and their politics if you want to go talk about Hillary then go to those sites, stations and channels.
I didn’t watch the video but I loved the speech so there really isn’t no need to watch the video.

@81 (Anti-Imperialist) — great post! Too many people don’t know their history and continue to repeat the ignorant sound bites they’re hooked on. You are 100% right about the founding fathers. I am so happy to see that no matter who of the 3 front runners winds up as president, we will be moving away from these hypocritical religious fundamentalists running this country into the ground and into war. Even the Republicans are tired of it and are nominating the most liberal/moderate dude in their bunch!
@3 (Chico Debarge) — LMBAO @ you!!! Looks like your son has a different name than you, but the post was funny nonetheless.
Re: the video — very nice — a little corny (like most of these types of videos usually are) — but it was nice.

It doesn’t matter how much of a war hero Mccain is, he is wrong on the war and we do not need anyone in the oval office after bush, wanting to stay in Iraq for 100 years. Now if billary gets the nomination I will stay home, and who ever wins will win.
billary is not sure how long it will take her to bring the troops home, she might be hood winking the gender voters. all of the women voters and name recongition voters need to rethink your vote.
don’t vote for billary just because she is a woman,
don’t vote for billary just on name alone
don’t vote for billary because the past the good ole ninetys was good to you.
this is the urgency of NOW.
Barack is the only one to bring this country and the world together.

By the way in case our memory is short, It was bill clinton who did away with affirmation action in colleges. Now even if you do everything your teachers and parents tell you, you bring home excellent grades. their are public colleges,(not black colleges) that will deny blacks because they can.
Look at UCLA, 5000 undergrads in 2006 out of 5000, 96 were blacks just about all atheles.
Affirmation action is still needed in america, otherwise colleges will be harder than ever to get into, not because you did not qualify, but because they no longer have to accept you.

I found the Yes We Can song for the iPod, Zune and Sony PSP over at http://www.RadtioTAGr.com
Anybody calling this song annoying is clearly a shill. It is a beautiful song and video…it couldn’t be more opposite of annoying. It is inspirational….period. And, note tht Will.i.am edited it carefully to be beautifully positive. It is a an apolitical message of Post 9/11, Post-Clinton, Post-Bush HOPE and Optimism. This is a great nation. Enjoy the song and video… You are welcome (-:

Amazing video, it is awesome how many people of difference cultures came together to successfully produce this video. I think it is worth repeating the “yes we can” message,” over… and over… again. It takes that long for some people to get it! The message…. “yes we can come” shows how together we can work toward creating a better world for our future, our kids and America. Freedom is not a destination, it is a journey. Coalition building is an essential tool for humans to be able to create goals and unity, toward a common ground for all of God’s children. Peace and Blessings, Obama and Biden.
