The singer (who just renamed her new album) was recently spotted at the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem (R) rocking her favorite scarf. At first I voted for the second “look” but after seeing her in the profile shot rockin’ the first look I changed my mind! She is a brilliant woman who is not afraid to go “out on a limb” in her creative expression. It is artists like her who make the world interesting and who in hindsight after she is gone will be understood on a deeper level. We never truly honor the “Erykah Badus” of the world while we have them! Sometimes many will say she is weird but at least she has the courage to not fall into the cookie cutter mentality of self expression! Imagine, she can’t ask anyone before leaving her home “How do I look?”, because there is no standard by which she can be judged! The world needs more people like her! You go girl!
