Look, another edition of ‘Who Rock’d It Better’ for you guys. Erykah Badu (who is dropping her new album tomorrow) and Actress Jada Pinkett-Smith both rock’d these dope YSL Tribute Leopard Print Peep-Toe Pumps while they were out and about town recently.
Erykah rock’d them first, when she was spotted back in January heading to MTV Studios in NYC. Jada rock’d them over the weekend at the ‘Film Independent’s Spirit Awards’ in Cali. As always, Who Rock’d Them Better? Another comparison after the cut.

They BOTH rocked the SHIT outta these pumps!! That I couldn’t even tell before reading the post what the two looks had in common shows the value of being able to interpret pieces, without letting clothes wear YOU.
Forever 21 fans, take note: although both women here still spent an arm and a leg on their outfits, lol, the LESSON is that it’s HOW you wear your clothes that sends the message. Creativity is key!
Um, them shoes rockin themselves. Them shoes are boss, sorry don’t matter whose wearing them, them shoes just speak for themselves. So both women look damn good in them.
Erykah! her style makes the shoes work with what she has on… who would think to wear those shoes with that anyway? only her, that’s why she is who she is and i love that. and i’ll be on my way to get her cd tomorrow =)
Erykah is so cool, she has the most unique sense of style, people can’t hack that. I love it, i love her ‘daring’ attitude, her confidence is the reason why she pulls off her look so so well.. GO ON EB!

They both have good style. I wish Erykah would do something with her makeup b/c I’m sure she’d come up with something creative. Plus, she’s super pretty, but all the big hair blocks her good features. Shame.

didn’t like the white dress but i like Jada’s classic style – but i like badu’s quirky look too. those shoes are unexpected on her but look great on her foot with the black jeans creating the contrast. i think these shoes just look better with pants. as far as walking in them, it’s probably tough especially on the pavement, but the platform cushions the ball of the foor and creates a sturdiness, just like a wedge heel creates stability. It’s a fun shoe, but they aren’t walking too far, trust!
