Danity Kane’s anticipated sophomore album, Welcome to the Dollhouse hit the stores today. Once again, Diddy lined up a host of A-List producers to help the girls get over the sophomore hump. Dollhouse’s first single, “Damaged” (written by BWB and produced by Stereotypez), is a very good representation of the rest of the album’s material. It’s light, fun and danceable, while still showcasing the girls’ voices.
The new album features productions from Bryan-Michael Cox, Danjahandz, The Clutch and more. It also has a guest appearances from Rick Ross and Missy Elliott. Standout tracks include the thumping “2 of You,” “Bad Girl,” and the midtempo house-inspired track, “Sucka For Love.” The season finale of Making the Band 4 premieres next week!

so i heard the album. average lyrics, some interesting beats, wasn’t really my thing but i must say that i love dawn. she is the coolest chick in the group, has the most unique look to her (aundrea also has a diff look), and has a nice voice. my fav dk member for sure

I love DK, my fav member is DAWN, shes very sexy and she can sang as well. I look forward to purchasing the album. All the girls are unique in their own lil way, but if they become more R&B i will appreciate them more………..
They are copying Britney’s photos for Esquire magazine in that pic but Britney pulled it off better. Their album is okay. I listened to it…hopefully they will sell but it sucks that their video was only released a week before the album comes out.

the album is amazing had it for the last week due to lovebscott.com and the leak on mtv, this album is amazing and shows their growth as a group they really learned how to harmonize and blend their voices together. this album is hot and I love every song and all the interludes except for key to my heart, maybe it will grow on me, but overall this album is a huge step up from their first album, im going to go ahead and congratulate dk, you guys are gonna have a great first week sales!!!!!

I’m not a big fan of the damaged single but I’m likin the sucka for love, I think Dawn should do a solo cd. I would rep my girl D’ woods from the A’ but I would actually buy a single from Dawn but good look for all the girls. It seems like the album might actually make it to my ipod.

All the girls have amazing vocals. This album truly has shown growth… especially in Shannon. They’ve got awesome up-beat songs, cool and sensual interludes, and a few wonderful mid-temp/slow songs as well. “Sucka For Love” is probably my favorite song right now. I LOVE that song… as well as the whole album itself. I’ll be picking up my copy later on today. Go and support the girls, you won’t be disappointed.

i streamed the album and it sounds really good, i like it more than the first one. “damaged” is actually one of my least favorite songs.

I am proud they were even able to release a second album being that they were on Bad Boy.
I predict they get the #1 spot on Billboard 200 next week. I mean they have the most watched show on MTV ever. If you are a regular watcher of the show, then you know the album is going to be hot.

Gosh people will find anything to hate on!!!! lol! These girls are pretty, talented- singing and dancing, and seem like cool chicks! If they’re sound is not your thing then say that but saying they can’t sing is unfair and untrue! I, myself, cannot wait to get the album and a lot of chicks I know are saying the same thing! I love damaged by the way! Their last album was hot so I have high hopes for this one!

You truly can’t please them all… but the haters make the world go round. D-woods is an old friend. We both grew up in the same city. (Springfield Ma.) I still remember the day both her and her sister moved to ATL. They both were very talented and as you can see they both have had much success. The album is whole heartedly amazing. Now a days music is not the same… nobody even pays attention to vocal skills, song writing, or just over all good music. These girls have managed to master there voices to gel together extremely well and not only is there style edgy but it is also innovative. When is the last time we had a innovative record??? (Aaliyah’s last album IMO) and that was a long time ago. It’s not about who has the number 1 hit on billboard, cause right now anybody can take that spot… Its all about music that will last and who puts that effort in for us as listeners. I was actually at the album release party…….The entire album is HOT I love Lights Out, Poetry, and Damage….Bad Girl is hot too! Hell, the whole album is the bomb! These girls are definitely going platinum with this album! The thing i’m liking about DK is that they’ve found their own voice…..they are not Destiny’s Child, 702, or any other group we’ve heard in the past….they are Danity Kane!
I didn’t care for them the first go around….but i’m HIGHLY IMPRESSED this time around!

DK is great girl group for the new millennium. There sound fits right into the music that’s on the charts today. I’m loving Lights Out, Bad Girl, 2 of u, Poetry (which need to be a single). I will purchase the album. Good to see people improving from album to album.

Goodness I’m reading the comments from people and I’m getting so excited to buy this album later. I loved their first album and I love the feel so far of leaked songs. It gives you a variety of music. They all have great voices and work their butts off as far as choreography practices etc. Whoever said they can’t sing just sounds idiotic or don’t know what singing is.
