I’m actually surprised at Ms, Michelle! She did a great job with this track! I would’ve never expected Michelle to sound so good in the Pop/Dance genre but she does! If this is what we can expect from the rest of her album then I am definitely purchasing it!! GOOD JOB MICHELLE!!

I was a fan of her gospel albums and didn’t think she would stand out as an rnb singer, but this just might work for her. Love the new look also.

I really like this song. I hope that she will do well in her solo career. I believe that she is very smart, she is doing something that Kelly should have done. Michelle has completely changed her image and her style of music. That is something that Kelly should have done. Kelly should have changed her whole image and her sound and maybe people would have been interested in her music career.

It sounds more pop than R&B, but either way I like it. I think it’s something different than what most were expecting. I hope she does well.

I love Michelle (she is a nut!!)! and I like this track. I’m looking forward to her project this year, as well as all the DC ladies and Solange.

Sidenote: Some of you people humor me. How can you say that this is what Kelly should have done (changed up her style of music, that way people would be more interested in her). Too bad that’s what she did (her last album, which was REALLY good by the way, despite the constant criticism, was COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than her first effort, which was also overlooked. So, to say that Kelly didn’t try and switch it up is wrong on so many levels. Not only that, “Break the Dawn” is striking similar to the feel and message of Kelly’s “Daylight.” So at this point, I’m convinced that, for whatever reason, nothing Kelly does will be accepted by the people on this site. I just pray that she isn’t living for the approval and acceptance of the nay sayers that breed on this site.
