I really like this song. I hope that she will do well in her solo career. I believe that she is very smart, she is doing something that Kelly should have done. Sidenote: Some of you people humor me. How can you say that this is what Kelly should have done (changed up her style of music, that way people would be more interested in her). Too bad that’s what she did (her last album, which was REALLY good by the way, despite the constant criticism, was COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than her first effort, which was also overlooked. So, to say that Kelly didn’t try and switch it up is wrong on so many levels. Not only that, “Break the Dawn” is striking similar to the feel and message of Kelly’s “Daylight.” So at this point, I’m convinced that, for whatever reason, nothing Kelly does will be accepted by the people on this site. I just pray that she isn’t living for the approval and acceptance of the nay sayers that breed on this site.

Like everyone else, I am definitely digging Michelle’s style. Her face looks fuller, she must have gained weight- Lord knows she needed to. Having a fine man in her life must have helped too. I tried to listen to the track, but the music drowned her out. Must be my computer’s speakers. Anyway, I am looking forward to somone else from Destiny’s Child to shine. I’m tired of hearing/seeing Bey and anything else she’s attempting to do. We all know she’s talented- but she aint hardly the only one - GIVE US A BREAK! (Throw your Roc signs up on that one!) I have no comment for Kelly- I think she eats BUTT for a living (Ha - Ha- Ha). Hope much success for Michelle and looking forward to her CD.

Some of these ppl dont think, “Kelly should have better producers” She had Sean Garrett who also worked on B-Day for Beyonce. Polow Da Don aint no sloucg either. Beyonce pays for her own projects with her endorsements and outside ventures *Dereon and Perfume*. Kelly Depends on the label and thats what kills her financially. Times are tough in the industry and her budget aint as big as it use to be with DC. And if Michelle dont invest some of her DC & Broadway money into her album, I afraid that she too will not go Gold. And I’m sure that Brian and alot folks will sorta agree on that.

Ok, yeah she definitely upgraded on both spectrums as far as looks and musical talent and abilities go. She looks great, I’m glad she cut that long hair, gained a couple pounds, and got rid of those tired red highlites she used to have lol. She always looked so much older than Kelly and Beyonce. But here she’s looking new and fresh faced (something that she really needs in order to break into the R&B realm). Cuz I’m sick of Keyshia Cole LOL.

Her song is nice. I didn’t expect it to be because I always thought she was wack in destiny’s child. But that could’ve been because they gave her the worst verses of the song. But her voice sounds a lot stronger and I’m diggin the background vocals. This single truly is unexpected.
