♫ BEYONCE – BEAUTIFUL NIGHTMARE (LISTEN)
For the past couple of months, rumors have been swarming around that Beyonce was going to release a dance album, and possible a country album. Telling by the above track, it seems as though the dance rumor was true. “Beautiful Nightmare” must be a teaser track just so the Music World camp can give us a taste of what’s going to be on the album. Even though I like the direction of the song, I don’t think that this will make the cut for the next album.
Reports were made that Timbaland was to produce the bulk of Beyonce’s as-yet-titled third studio album. The new project, which will be going for more a house, pop, dance and international sound will be the follow-up to 2006′s multi-platinum B’Day. I’m hoping that the rumors that Timbaland involved are true, because I think that’d be absolutely insane.

Ok, I am without a doubt a die hard Beyonce fan but what the hell is this? dance music is so extra annoying. it’s virtually unlistenable, why would such a greatly received wnd well understood artist veer off on such a weird tangent? Sorry B this isn’t doing it for me. If this is what the next album sounds like (even remotely) i’ll pass.

Bday? Successful? What sales figures were you looking at? Please they had to re release that joint in order to barely go 3 times platinum. For the way she gets pushed by her record company that is highly disappointing. Especially when you factor in sales expectations because of her first album. It is very different from her other music and it is an okay song. I do love the fact that she is not overpowering the beat and her vocals sound really good.

well there’s a simple rule to the music industry that beyonce needs to learn: the more exposed you are, the more hype you need. homegirl refused to take a break so now she gotta do somethin real special. but mediocre stuff like this might get her stans all hyped up but the masses sure as hell wont swallow it for the third fukkin time.

I’m not really feeling it. Her voice sounds too much like her usual riffing tone. I think to make the crossover she needs to change up the tone. I really think she just needs a break and take some lessons on how to sing with dance music. I really think this song would’ve been better with Keri Hilson’s voice. She has more of a light dance music tone.

Ok i have to say i’m Bey’s #1 fan but this is just something else. It’s prob just one of the many songs shes gonna record for this album.Prob wont make the cut NE ways. Plus whenever an aritst is coming w/ a new album all the crap gets released on the net real early and then when its time for the album to drop they bring the fire. Bey needs to give it a rest, she needs to disappear for about a year or two until we forget about her a little and then come back with a new album.
I hate the music industry nowadays because its sooo generic, everyone is working with Timbaland and therefore all sound the damn same! This is a bad decision for Bey, her album will end up like Britneys in that it will have some fun songs but it will be forgetable. 3 months after Brit released her album noone cares because it had no substance just good beats. Bey’s may be the same if she combos with Timbo.
Also this whole dance album thing reminds me of Rihanna, thats sort of the direction Riri went with in GGGBad so its silly for Bey to follow suit, it makes her look like a copycat.
Why is everyone ditching R&B? r&b is one of the best genres ever but because the music industry has watered it down, everyone is going with pop and dance music.
i dont know if i like this route shes taking yet. She sounds kind of weird on dance music and I dont like the studio effects on some of her vocals but the arrangements are nice. I dont like the song its another crazy in love/deja vu type track on a dance beat and i dont like the fact that the title is similar to beautiful liar…but i guess we’ll see when the official single comes out. i really wish homegirl would take a break though.
