Clifford “T.I.” Harris has plead guilty to federal weapons possession charges on Thursday (March 27) and will spend one year behind bars.
The rapper plead guilty to possession of an unregistered firearm, possession of machine guns and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He will begin his sentence after completing at least 1,000 hours of community service.

Remy Ma, 26, was found guilty on two charges of assault Thursday (March 27) in Manhattan Supreme Court. She faces up to 25 years if convicted on both counts.
Word is she wiped away tears as the verdict was read, then “wailed loudly and sobbed openly” as she left the courtroom in handcuffs, according to The Associated Press.
The charges stem from an incident that occurred last July when the rapper and Makeda Barnes-Joseph argued after leaving a birthday party. Click here if you don’t know the story by now.
Fisher told MTV News he intends to file an appeal for his client immediately.
“The jury acquitted the second half of the indictment,” he said, referring to the tampering and intimidation charges. “That will help the appeal because that evidence, those charges, shouldn’t have been in the case to begin with. And there are other issues we think may turn the conviction around.”
I guess the truth didn’t set him completely free…
But I respect him a lot more.

Choices and Consequences…. TI stepped up took responsibility and accepted the punishment. Just hope that his has learned that this was so unnecessary. Honestly for what he was facing 12 months is lovely – if he gets credit for time served on house arrest, he alerasy has about 6 in.

Some of you are really mean spirited and I hope you know that what comes around goes around even in words. Wishing and hoping that people get taken away from their children is not cool, no matter what their offense is, still, they are human,and we all make mistakes.
You all need to be careful and watch what you say, for real. I have favored TI from the first time I heard him on the track with Beanie Man, and I knew he would make it big. I think it is very sad that he has to go through this again. Be it, 5 years or 25, anyone who has had someone they love get locked up knows, that it is a very painful experience to go through, it feels as though you are locked up with the person you love.
I just hope that hip hop stars start to release the need of glorifying guns and violence in their songs. There is nothing joyous about being shot, or killed, or having to see your child visit you in prison because you shot someone. To me, this is really sad.
Remy, seems like a talented, nice person who deep down who let her image control her entire life. I have a young son and If I don’t see him for a night I am devastated. I know that she is heartbroken, but she could have killed that young women she shot. I wish TI and Remy both well and I just think this is so terribly sad.
