As stated, Samata has been appointed an official ambassador for the national Girls! Make Your Mark campaign. Girls! The campaign is brought to life through the inspirational stories of young people, which is why Samata Angel has been chosen as she is already making her idea happen by launching her clothing line Samata’s Muse and forging forward with her career in true style.

Samata is a good look for BET – it’s just launched in the UK and needs someone who is hot right now. To be honest there was not that much of a buzz about the content because they are importing a lot of shows from the US like College Hill – it would be wise of them to tap into some of the important people on the scene right now like Samata, Kano…maybe SWAY.

14.

Thursday, March 6, 2008 /

Yeah I agree – Sama is making moves – is she hosting a show for them?

LMAO@ Cassie….true enough point though.

22.

P

Thursday, March 6, 2008 /

They got some big names on board – in the UK Estelle, Jamelia and Alesha Dixon are probably as big as it gets in the music scene and Samata IS the fashion scene with a pretty black face so she is marketable – let’s be honest. Estelle did well to be there so people don’t accuse her of selling out to the US….lol

Thursday, March 6, 2008 /

Shout out Concrete Loop for keeping your grizzly fingers on the pulse. This girl is THE one to watch in the UK fashion scene – her work is hot

Thursday, March 6, 2008 /

I don’t know if the US channel will do well without certain people on board from the UK in the fashion and music scene – they have to bring UK talent on board to show us respect.
