British born Ghanaian designer Samata Angel of Samata’s Muse has been doing big things since our last update on her. If you didn’t know, Samata was Concrete Loop’s first ever ‘Designer Spotlight’ feature.
Here is the latest: Her clothing line, Samata’s Muse, has been featured in numerous fashion shows, she is working on a new book, a show and she recently announced that she was appointed as the official ambassador for the national ‘Girls! As stated, Samata has been appointed an official ambassador for the national Girls! Make Your Mark campaign. Girls! Make Your Mark is a campaign to encourage more young women to have ideas and make them happen – either through running their own business or social enterprise or by making an idea happen at work.
The campaign is brought to life through the inspirational stories of young people, which is why Samata Angel has been chosen as she is already making her idea happen by launching her clothing line Samata’s Muse and forging forward with her career in true style.

Probably if we had more stars like her – or more of an even spread between the Cassie, beyonce, alicia keys and the tweets and Samatas then young black girls would try to emulate the right type of success not become music video stars or be Diddy’s Jumpoff….

Just heard Samata is being looked at for a Bond role apparently….not sure if it is true tho. Has she published a book – Im based in the US and want to pick it up – heard it can be ordered online?!!!
