For anyone to call Tyra an egomaniac, is insane. She is one of the most open and giving models out there with a strong positive self esteem and a strong foundation in who she is. Sure she is all about making her money but what other top white models are’nt out there making their loot and they are making no apologies for it. You don’t see Naomi or Elle M, or Cindy Crawford out there helping young aspiring models? Tyra is doing what comes natural to her which is sharing with others.
None of these women will be on the level that Tyra is on in terms of “Top Black High Fashion Model”. She is a legend in her own right because she broke down so many of those barriers that are in the biz for Black women “with a real womans figure”.
Most of these woman would have the door slammed in their faces if it were not for Tyra giving them face time. None of these women can even come close to Tyra’s fierceness. She has the X factor and anyone who tries to play down this women needs to check themselves first before they judge.
At least we don’t here about Tyra doing cocain or hanging out with total idiots like Paris Hilton! Look at Kate Moss. She can afford to get caught doing drugs and then end up back on top. Tyra cannot afford to get caught for doing any of this shyt because she is Black. I have so much respect for her because she aint giving them a chance to say she is a loser. She is human and will make mistakes but you gotta give credit where credit is due.

I guess I am just one of the few that adores Tyra. She has definitely opened modeling up for women of color, and not just the light skin ones. I applaud her for what she is trying to do, especially with women feeling better about their body image. Hell, we cant all look like models and she helps women understand that even the models dont really look like they do in magazines. Besides all that, I think she is a smart business woman.
